The Treehouse

As someone who lived in apartments her whole life, I was never able to have one. It sucks I know it, but what can you do with such little space. I did use to have one of those little playhouses for kids, if that's close enough.

Not a treehouse, but I have built one on ground level from pallets and plastic. It had been there for a few years. It's interior consisted of an old chair and a small chest and maybe a few things more. Not really interesting, but as a child something like that is awesome.

I've been in some but I never had one of my own as far as I can remember. I've been considering building a huge one though......

no i never had a treehouse. no big trees around my childhood home. there's some trees here.

For a minute I though I was seeing double lol.

Anyhow, a friend of mine used to have a little treehouse in a very old tree in his garden at the back of his house. It wasn't that amazing, but it was cool if we wanted to be away for a while.

To be honest, I've never in my life seen a treehouse. I've seen them on TV and in movies and stuff plenty of time, but I've never seen one in real life.

o_o there's literally like three in my neighborhood alone, andthey're all pretty spectacular. I'll take a picture of one when I can remember and walk down to it an show you what one looks like "in the flesh" (obviously not in-person for you but more realistic than in a movie).

I never had one of my own. when I lived near where I had friends, we would just play outside rather than in a secret club/place :(

I always wanted a treehouse as a kid. I dont even think I have been in one before, either. It would be pretty cool to build one for my future kids or something.

No, I've never had one. My family never had a tree to call our own that has branches strong enough to even consider building something on it. In fact, children in my area don't build tree houses at all, so I've never even seen one irl. I suspect it's a cultural thing and that only children in western countries build them, but I don't want to be mistaken.

No, but my childhood best friend did. It was one of the most amazing things ever. We used to LOVE playing in her treehouse, which was built by her dad. It made me wish I could have one of my own. I did have a tree in the backyard, but it wasn't really made for a treehouse. Plus, I was also terrified of spiders just as much as I am right now.

I live in a city with little to no yards my whole life so I've never even encountered one. :C

haha please do so! I just don't think treehouses are a thing in Australia.
