    So, i havnt caught these two yet, but ive been trying (Using the classic route 206/07 way).
    Ive got my golbat with mean look, so they cant escape, and other pokemon on standby to deal damage. I thought id work... until i realised as soon as i swich Golbat out, meanlooks gone. SO which one of these beasts stumps you the most.
     
    I just got my highest level Wobbuffet and once I found one of them I started chucking PokeBalls at them.
    Umbreon + Mean Look, like the above person suggested, doesn't hurt though.
     
    Cresselia seems harder to catch than Mesprit. xD For no real reason anyway, even though their catch rate is identical.
    I just used my Master Ball on it last time since I couldn't be bothered anymore.

    Mean Look helps loads~
     
    Meh, they're easy it's just I uhm, well, I uhm, *COUGHpoisonedCOUGH* Cresselia and I don't really need hte 3 pixies unless someone offers me a trade involving those three. I find them a waste of Ultra Balls or Dusk Balls or whatever you use.
     
    i caught both, some time ago.
    Cresselia gave me alot less trouble than mesprit. i chased that thing for a solid month! ><
    what i found odd was that Cressie appeared on water. O_O; that thing can be ANYWHERE.
    (i caught it on water just randomly)
     
    *sighs* Id love to get them.... but they hate pokeballs.
    Again, cresslia is the hardest to me beacuse i do only a little dmg with golbat, and hes weak to phycic.
    I love and hate these two, but whatchya gonna do.
    My next tactict... brute force and ignorance!!!
     
    Migrate a pokemon from GBA pokemon holding the masterball they're not that god to use by the way
     
    I haven't even bothered trying to get Cresselia yet. I got one in a giveaway, anyway. And I found Mesprit randomly while EV training.
     
    You could just whittle down their HP if you really don't have a trapping move. Battle after battle just chase it. Then, when its low on HP + Status, Quick Ball.
