    Welcome to PC's Underground Mafia Hangout v1! This is your resting place and your lounge for those Mafia players who felt too tense being in the mafia threads!

    For those who have no idea of Mafia, the mechanics are simple. Everyone will be split into two teams, the uninformed majority known as the Innocents, and the informed minority known as the Mafia. Your goal is to basically kill every one who isn't on your team. It's that simple! Sometimes, games have special twists to add the challenge present in these already nerve-wrecking games.

    This serves as The Underground's DCC. You can use this thread to talk with other PC Mafia enthusiasts, talk about your strategies, discuss new ways of making a game very different, etc etc. As long as anything Mafia game-related should stay out of this thread.​

    GAMES YOU'VE PLAYED: Two (three if you count the one still going). Supporter 2, Faeries & Daemons and Supporter 3.

    Mafia has everything: intensity, problem-solving, plot, humour and even the chance to lynch/burn/execute/eat my fellow PCers.

    Currently working on a Blarzigord mafia ;)

    Games you've played: 0. i've never actually played a mafia game myself, though i've read/watched several games take place, and i've been dying to join one ( ´ ▽ ` )ゞ

    so yeah. i can't really say what i like most about a mafia game yet as i've never been an actual participant, but from what i've seen i think the intrigue is amazing c:

    I presume at the creation of this club, there will be games for non-supporters too. I've only noticed the games for supporters so far shot

    REASON FOR JOINING THE PC MAFIA: because Mafia is a great game and I love it much yes
    GAMES YOU'VE PLAYED: Four (on PC), including the one I hosted (Faeries & Daemons), the other three being Supporter Mafia Seasons Two and Three (which just started haha) and honey's in FG, which preceded my own.

    What made you like Mafia as a game?

    on the first forum I joined which I got banned from for being a stupid eleven year old but shh we don't talk about that Mafia was kind of a constant thing, though there it was Werewolf and we'd all sign up as a pokémon (since they had icons for all of the pokémon (at the time) that you could use by going {pokémon name here}), but it was the same premise. I loved it and entered a number of games there (a number which I do not recall), though there I don't think I remember many roles, if any, beyond the innocents and the werewolves? but I was thrilled when I first saw honey's pop up here, and then a few days later noticed Supporter Mafia Season Two (and barely made the sign-up deadline) aaaaaand yeah, I'm a happy camper in Mafia now, haha.

    funnily enough, in my school's Drama Club yesterday someone suggested playing Mafia (which I've never done in an irl setting, though that's how it was created) and I just burst out laughing especially since one of my friends that I invited to join Faeries & Daemons who didn't was sitting right next to me

    oh and gimmepie, I will gladly table Faeries & Lycans for the time being to make room for our lord and savior Blarzigord. do it.

    REASON FOR JOINING THE PC MAFIA: Mafia is a fun game.
    GAMES YOU'VE PLAYED: The number that's less than 1 and rhymes with hero.

    I once played a game where everyone was a different power role - "everyone was mafia", so to speak, and the only objective was to survive. It was hilarious. What are some variants that've been played here?
     
    We've done secret roles with Spy/Double Agent roles (Faeries and Daemons) and currently in the new game (Supporter Mafia S3), the mafia group in S2, are the innocents (basically the innocents are the antagonists) haha

    GAMES YOU'VE PLAYED: 2 on PC (Supporter 2 and Supporter 3) and heaps on other forums (SPPf and EGC primarily - both Mafia and variations of it), and irl too

    Now, day one has finished in SMS3, and that was quite a day... 6 pages of the thread were dedicated to that day lmao x3
