So anyone here a fan of the White Stripes?

They're going to release a new album on June 7 and I just heard the single "Blue Orchid" and saw its video. It's just awesome and I can't wait for it to come out!

Well, the thing about the White Stripes is they used to scare me. Why? I do not know. My Mom likes them, so I hear them frequently. Although I don't have the new album, the other album is really good. What I wonder often about is the relationship with Jack and Meg, I know they used to be married. X3; ~Dignity

I love the song, "7 Nation Army".

Yeah, I like them, their heard their song blue orchid and I bought the CD last tuesday...

Blue Orchid and Red Rain were among my favorites in the CD. ^_^

By the way, whenever Jack White opens concerts, he goes: "My name is Jack White and this is my big sister Meg White." They're not really brothers and sisters but they used to look like they're brother and sisters.

The white Stripes is an awesome band! there one of my favorites. They rock, but not as much as Weezer does

White Stripes is more of a blues/rock band... kinda reminds me of Led Zeppelin.. in fact their song "Little Acorns" sounds like something Led Zeppelin wrote... XD

I haven't heard much of their new stuff; the radio station I listen to hasn't been playing them recently. x_X (They're overshadowed far too much by Coldplay's recent release.) Anyway, I really like the band. ^^; All the music I've heard from them so far is great, and I'd pick up their CDs, but they're still at full price and I don't have the cash. <_<;;

Aren't they former husband-and-wife rather than brother and sister? o_O

Yeah... Coldplay's new album wasn't what I expected. It wasn't that good.. but not a failure, either. White Stripes was more than I expected. It was actually pretty good... ^^

The White Stripes: Weird, but good.. In a different kind of good ^^; My mom just got the CD, and when she gets a new CD, I hear it 24/7 for the following week.. Or until it breaks, XD. But Blue Orchid is my favorite song. ~Dignity

Red Rain is another good song, by the way. And Instinct Blues, too.

I'm not a huge White Stripe fan, but the "Blue Orchid" video was amazing, it has some awesome tabs to it, and its deffinitly there best song.

Yeah, Blue Orchid video was awesome... that other girl (not Meg) in the video looks like the girl from the Hotel Yorba video... I heard she's Jack's real wife... o.o

 

[Thine Eyes Deception]

I enjoy the White Stripes for their various style. After all, "Seven Nation Army" and "Black Math" sound like two totally different styles. They meld together a pot of my favorite music, like Gorillaz do, yo-ho, and that is why they are one of my favorite bands (and are mentioned in my signature).

Black Math's an awesome song! I just love the lyrics in it! X3

I was going to get Blue Orchid then I got X&Y. The main reason I didn't get Orchid was because I was in school and I was on the computer on Yahoo Music and I saw half the video of the song and I was very dissapointed. I'll probably pick it up later since The White Stripes are very interesting to me. If I like the album all I can say is I wish Meg White didn't have the talent of an 8 yr old drummer lol.

X&Y partly disappointed me... it was just sreaming AROBTTH2 out loud... though I did like a couple of songs, it's just a downgraded version of AROBTTH
