3rd Gen Things to know before I start Sapphire

    I am getting ready to start Sapphire. I know I'm a little late on the pick up, but I just finished Leaf Green and want to know what to do and what not to do at the start. I want to get all the pokemon I can. I know if I do something wrong at the beginning it may mess up pokemon later in the game. Can someone please let me know what are some good and bad things to do and not to do. Thanks to anyone that can help!!!
