    This is place for General Webmaster Chat, so this ultimately the perfect place for this thread. I want to discuss what "certain people" have called PokeFeeds as a "copycat".

    Now clearly this is untrue for several reasons. The most obvious one is that, I at one time was a Co Owner of PocketNews. If you look in the past, I was the main sponsor of it and was the one who sought after clients and got PocketNews every single layout it had.

    I find it offensive someone would tarnish my name, and the name of PokeFeeds in this kind of mud flinging advertising with the hopes of making the supposal "original" the one people go to. This is simply ridiculous, and I wish people would stop spreading these lies.

    PokeFeeds, which at one time was called Orbit News has been in development for over TWO YEARS. We planned launching PokeFeeds back in 2005, but on the request of the owner of PocketNews I instead rejoined for a short amount of time as a Co Owner.

    So please if you want to continue to call PokeFeeds or myself a CopyCat, because we perfected the Pokemon News System then say it now. If people didn't like it or truly thought we were copycats, then we wouldn't be getting 300+ uniques perday, and rising.
     
    I dont see why they call you a copycat i honestly like your site better than Pocket News. No offence Koroku your site was good to. But the reason i like PokeFeeds is because they have really fast responders and they have a great news system which i use with my site Pokemon Help.
     
    I wish I knew why they want to wage this "I was first" campaign, fully knowing that I really helped them develop into what they were today.

    Not even they can deny the fact, that PocketNews probably wouldn't have been major success nor would have stuck around without my help.
     
    You know, I agree with the person who reported this - the thread isn't really necessary. If you want to discuss this stuff, then go to the lounge, or take it to your own forums.

    I don't see enough wrong with this to close it. I may post here never, but I checked the rules, and there is no rule against him making this thread. Last I checked, in a sense these are his forums, since TP is a Community Site, anyways.

    This thread was also approved by two higher staff before it was posted, therefore I will reopen it.

    I don't see why this would even needed to have been closed, when this is IN TotalPokemon's forums (PokeFeeds is part of TP, Jedi_Amara). Not to mention this is something *not* for the Lounge, and would only dillute the conversation in there.

    I just think this dirty advertising campaign needs to end. We are here for the Pokemon Fans, if people are mad at that we captured the market after the fall of PocketNews then oh well. We do it for the fans, not the glory.
     
    Why would PokeFeeds be called a "copycat" theres lots of pokemon news like bublanews.
     
    I don't see it as a fight, but more of a lengthy battle between the respective parties... I just want to see a end to the bickering of calling my site a "copycat", when I basically was the one who got PN to be so well known.

    The layouts, partners, and news were all basically done by me in the beginning, and I cannot fathom how the current Owners can deny that.
     
    This is childish. Its unneeded and idiotic. The last thing I need around is some flaming thread where everyone bashes one another. Locked until further notice. Any users who participated in any flaming/bashing, you've been warned.
