Yep... I made this team because my best friend dared me to make one.

This is a team made entirely out of basic Pokemon. And by "basic", I mean the ones that evolve. I don't mean those that don't evolve and are powerful because of that. Meaning, I can't use Skarmory, etc. Also, I'm not using Pre-evos. (For example: I'm not using Tyrogue since it's a Pre-evo. And I'm not using the Hitmons since they are unenvolving Basic Pokes. Understand now?) And so, without further ado, my ALL BASIX TEAM:

    Larvitar @ Leftovers
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
    Brave Nature
    Trait: Guts
    - Earthquake
    - Rock Slide
    - Crunch
    - Dragon Dance

Physical Sweeper obviously. Since its speed is low anyway, I went for Brave. A few DDs will solve that problem.

    Abra @ Brightpowder
    EVs: 252 Def / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
    Modest Nature
    Trait: Synchronize
    - Psychic
    - Fire Punch
    - Ice Punch
    - Thunderpunch

Abra's got incredible SAtk and Spd for a basic evolving Pokemon. I'm loving this thing. :D

    Skitty @ Leftovers
    EVs: 252 Def / 252 SDef / 4 HP
    Impish Nature
    Trait: Cute Charm
    - Heal Bell
    - Wish
    - Shadow Ball
    - Attract

Wisher-cleric in one. I would've used Chansey, but the combo of Wish and Aromatherapy is illegal. I know this thing is way too fragile for its own good, but I tried to keep it all on one Poke.

    Staryu @ Leftovers
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Def
    Calm Nature
    Trait: Natural Cure
    - Surf / Light Screen
    - Cosmic Power
    - Toxic
    - Rest

Physical and Special Wall in one. Toxistaller too! ^_^ I love it.

    Shroomish @ Leftovers
    EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SDef
    Bold Nature
    Trait: Effect Spore
    - Spore
    - Swagger
    - Leech Seed
    - Giga Drain

Haha... SporeSeed, SporeSwagger. Then, while the enemy Poke's got maximized attack while asleep, I combo it with...

    Psyduck @ Leftovers
    EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 Def
    Naive Nature
    Trait: Cloud Nine
    - Psych Up
    - Cross Chop
    - Aerial Ace
    - Hypnosis

Copy the maximized Atk of the enemy caused by Shroom's Swagger, Hypnotize when necessary, and kill. Harhar... I've not tested this team yet, but I'm having fun just thinking about it.

    Rate, onegai. :D

    Larvitar @ Leftovers
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
    Adamant Nature
    Trait: Guts
    - Earthquake
    - Rock Slide
    - Crunch Taunt/Substitute
    - Dragon Dance

Physical Sweeper obviously. Since its speed is low anyway, I went for Brave. A few DDs will solve that problem.

Nyah, that Crunch is pointless, really, just take a support move and make it Adamant. Also, there's no need for that much Speed if you're going to DD buf, divert some of it to HP.

    Abra @ Brightpowder Leftovers/Lum Berry
    EVs: 252 Def / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
    Modest Timid Nature
    Trait: Synchronize
    - Psychic
    - Fire Punch
    - Ice Punch
    - Thunderpunch

Brightpowder sucks, period, and using it is N00Bish with a big, green, capital 'N'. Go with Leftovers in case it survives special attacks or Lum Berry to take random status hits. Also, Timid over Modest since it needs to be fast enough to land its hits. Ghastly does a better job at this imo.

    Skitty @ Leftovers
    EVs: 252 Def / 252 SDef / 4 HP
    Impish Nature
    Trait: Cute Charm
    - Heal Bell
    - Wish
    - Shadow Ball
    - Attract

Wisher-cleric in one. I would've used Chansey, but the combo of Wish and Aromatherapy is illegal. I know this thing is way too fragile for its own good, but I tried to keep it all on one Poke.

Bleah, bad poke, horrible poke. Don't use it, please...better alternatives suggested below.

    Staryu @ Leftovers
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Def
    Calm Nature
    Trait: Natural Cure
    - Surf / Light Screen
    - Cosmic Power
    - Toxic
    - Rest

Physical and Special Wall in one. Toxistaller too! ^_^ I love it.

Wtf? Okay, this thing is nothing but a bad joke...seriously. Just ditch it.

    Shroomish @ Leftovers
    EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SDef
    Bold Nature
    Trait: Effect Spore
    - Spore
    - Swagger Substitute/Swords Dance
    - Leech Seed
    - Giga Drain/Sludge Bomb

Haha... SporeSeed, SporeSwagger. Then, while the enemy Poke's got maximized attack while asleep, I combo it with...

Hahahaa...nope, Swagger sucks so bad that it ain't even funny, and thinking that your opponent actually won't switch out is just plain ridiculous. .___. Sub for stalling please, although I've also seen this thing dish out some decent damage with SD and Sludge Bomb. Also, rethink your EV spread, please, no Sp.Attack means that Giga Drain won't really do crap, and having only 4 SDef EVs is asking for a sweep.

    Psyduck @ Leftovers
    EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 Def
    Naive Nature
    Trait: Cloud Nine
    - Psych Up Calm Mind
    - Cross Chop Surf
    - Aerial Ace Ice Beam/Hidden Power [Grass]
    - Hypnosis

Copy the maximized Atk of the enemy caused by Shroom's Swagger, Hypnotize when necessary, and kill. Harhar... I've not tested this team yet, but I'm having fun just thinking about it.

Swagger + Psych Up is a pathetic combo even on one poke, but spreading it across two is taking it to an all new level of suckiness. Don't do it, just dont. T_T CM sweep for the win. Also...those EVs are just bleah. Actually, Psyduck in itself isn't such a bright move.

    Rate, onegai. :D

Lots of weak pokémon, bad strategy, and horrible EVs. This team wouldn't last for long against anyone who knows what they're doing, not even if they played with the same restrictions as you. Better first forms include:

    Trapinch @ Choice Band
    Nature: Adamant
    Trait: Arena Trap
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 Def
    Earthquake
    Rock Slide
    Hidden Power [Bug]
    Quick Attack

Trap and kill, with a base Attack as high as Flygon's and Arena Trap to boot this virile beast is among the most formidable CB sweepers of the NU metagame.

    Clamperl @ Deepseatooth
    Nature: Modest
EVs: 252 Satk, rest in HP and Defense
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Hidden Power [Grass]
    Sleep Talk

    or

    Clamperl @ Deepseascale
    Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP, everything else split among Def and SDef, possibly with a bit of SAtk
    Surf
    Toxic
    Rest
    Sleep Talk

Clamperl is one of the best unevolveds out there, I can't believe you didn't use this one. T_T With Deepseatooth it has the highest SAtk in the game, making it a very dangerous spec. sweeper if you pass along a few shots of Agility or paralyze your opponents beforehand and with Deepseascale it become a tough walling type.

    Ghastly @ Leftovers/Lum Berry/Salac Berry
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
    Thunderbolt
    Hidden Power [Ice/Fire]
    Giga Drain
    Destiny Bond/Hypnosis

Yay Ghastly, with its high Speed and SAtk it's also near the top of the pack as far as unevolveds are concerned and although it lacks the punches that its evolved forms get, a suitable Hidden Power makes a decent substitution.

    Cubone @ Thick Club
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 Def
    Earthquake/Bone Rush
    Rock Slide
    Hidden Power [Bug]
    Swords Dance/Focus Punch

    Wannabe Marowak.

    Meditite @ Choice Band
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
    Hi Jump Kick
    Shadow Ball
    Rock Slide/Hidden Power [Rock]
    Fake Out

Lil' Medicham, Pure Power + STAB Hi Jump Kick still rocks.

    Pikachu @ Light Ball
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
    Thunderbolt
    Surf
    Hidden Power [Ice/Gras]
    Wish/Thunder Wave

We all know it, we all hate it, but unevolveds don't get much stronger than this. Light Ball and a full special arsenal combined with Pikachu's high Speed means lots of pain of your opponent.

    And of course...

    Chansey @ Leftovers
    Nature: Bold
    Trait: Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
    Seismic Toss
    Ice Beam/Thunder Wave
    Softboiled/Wish
    Aromatherapy/Heal Bell/Counter

Meh, just pick clericing or Wish, this team still needs the walling presence.

For physical walling, may I suggest...

    Onix @ Leftovers
    Nature: Impish
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Atk
    Earthquake
    Rock Slide
    Roar
    Rest/Explosion

It doesn't have much HP, so the more Def it has the more hits it can take. If you go with Explosion you could also try diverting some Defense to Attack.

Omanyte could also work for walling, and Duskull might not be too shabby either. Whatever the case, I'd say drop Psyduck and Skitty at the very least (Perhaps Larvitar as well), I've provided plenty of more formidable options.

Aww... Okay, I get the stupid Swagger + Psych Up thing. (Why am I not thinking...) But I like the Staryu... Why not?

    And how 'bout this:

    Scyther @ Leftovers
    Adamant Nature
    Trait: Swarm
    Swords Dance
    Baton Pass
    Silver Wind
    Agility

    for a passer?

Meh, not too hot. =\ Scyther's defenses are kind of sucky, whereas its Speed is excellent, so Agility is really redundant. Scyther is better of as either a CB or SD sweep. Also, about the Staryu...Cosmic Power in itself should say it all. That move fails, always. Staryu and Starmie rely on switching out to get rid of status ailments, and Cosmic Power is a direct kick in the balls for that. .___. If you want defensive then go with...

    Surf/Ice Beam
    Thunderbolt
    Recover
    Reflect

    For Scyther...

    Scyther @ Choice Band
    Adamant nature
    252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 HP

    Aerial Ace
    Steel Wing
    Hidden Power [Bug]
    Quick Attack

    or

    Scyther @ Leftovers/Liechi Berry/Salac Berry
    Jolly Nature
    Dunno the EVs ;___;
    Aerial Ace
    Hidden Power [Bug]/Silver Wind
    Quick Attack/Steel Wing/Hidden Power [Fighting]/Baton Pass
    Swords Dance

With its defenses it won't really get in more than one or two stat increases in, and even those are kind of iffy. SD once and then sweep or pass.

I wasn't meaning for Staryu to be using its Natural Cure anyway. That's why I put Rest instead of Recover. I'll be trying that latter Scyther, though. Thanks.

If you have a pokémon with Natural Cure and don't take advantage of that then your very concept screams of bad strategy. Anyways, Cosmic Power fails, simple as that. You'll just be phazed out of your position and Staryu doesn't have the defensive stats to sit out those two turns for Rest anyway. :\
