    How do i get to start with a female pokemon is there anything i have to do?
     
    You just need to save right before you get your starter, and reset until you get a female.
     
    All you do is keep starting over and over, and eventually you will have a female.

    That's all you can do.
     
    Yes just do what Kairi and DragonTrainer said. It's funny though I've
    never gotten a female starter in all my games as a trainer. Of course
    I'm always the boy so maybe that has something to do with it...
     
    nothing to do with the gender of the trainer... choosing Haruka won't affect anything. It's just that the starters only have a 13.5% chance of being female (but it's worth it)
     
    Especially if you want to breed 'em. Ditto breeding is a pain?
     
    Too bad Ditto isn't in the game, I guess they left it out to encourage getting females to breed. Extra challenge?
     
    My Sapphire is mesed up some of the old pokemon are in my game like when ever I fish I get a bayleef, and wild dittos run all over the safri zone, the old pokemon in our game because my friend says they are in our game but you have to unlock them through FR Collisseium and LG WB. And just think my game hese a cool glitch or a piece of data broke that was keeping me from seeing them. I just ran into a shiny dito(some old pokemon are all over the place)! I will list some I have ran into pidgy, sperow, bulbasuar, charmander, delibird, arbock and mew(found him in the safiri zone *dies of happines*)!
     
    most likely your rom is one of the poorly hacked 386 roms, with the full pokedex given to you along with strange pokemon running everywhere... it's not the right one.
     
    i got a female treecko on my first try :P
