To old for Pokemon? Your Opinion!

    Don't know if this has ever been posted before but It's mainly an opionion type thing, I'm 19 myself and still play Pokemon and think it's fun, no matter what anyone else thinks/says. What do you all think? :chinese:

    No one should be too old for anything. ^^ I enjoy Pok?mon, and I'm 15. I've known quite a few people are are over 21 and still enjoy Pok?mon. I think, I heard this somewhere, that in Japan, Pok?mon is for everybody, so even the adults loves Pok?mon. ^^

    The only dumb thing is if you start hating Pok?mon and saying it's for "kids" and "-------". It just isn't cool; so immature. XD
     
    Hrm... this topic must be getting hot. In a similar topic on another forum, I posted this, in reference to a similar topic in this forum (which was not this topic. Yes, that means this one has been addressed here before. :P) Anyway, here it is. It hasn't changed much from the original.

    I still play it, but I don't enjoy it as much. Pokemon needs to grow up a little. Maybe slightly more mature plots?

    As far as the topic of anyone being too old for Pokemon, I don't think anyone is, but I do think if Nintendo doesn't do something new & more mature for Pokemon, they'll continue to lose small portions of it's fanbase.

    A duplicate thread is fine as long as the older one has been dead for a while.

    I hardly ever play the games anymore and I've only watched two Hoenn episodes. The only contact I have with Pok?mon is with forums, fics, and some art.
     
    There was a phase in my life from 12-14 where I had no contact with Pokemon at all. But after seeing huge amounts of Gardevoir fanart, I decided to get a copy of Emerald (that was last December). Now I'm 15, but I don't think I'm too old for Pokemon (altought I did think oppositly when I was 14).
     
    Hell, I'm 19 and watch the anime, have seen all the movies up to date, have several plushies, own several of the games, currently on FireRed atm. Do I care if my age has something to do with it? ****no!

    Pok?mon IMO is for all ages. It's just fun and cute as well =3 Age doesn't have to be a factor in wether you like Pok?mon or not. I know adults in their 40s who like it and I know kids around 11 and 13 that well...don't =\ So age for me is no factor what so ever.
     
    played pokemon from ages 13 to 16 religiously, stopped after that until now and i'm 20. my friends (who all used to play) don't think i should pick it up again, but hey, my girlfriend has a 9 - 5 job and then class 'til 10 five days a week. i don't have anything to do for the whole summer, might as well pick up a new game, right?

    erm,i am 17 n i stil love pokemon..altough my mom always say i have grown up n everytime tease me on stil loving pokemon,i stil lvoe them!!!i do collectd e movies,stickers,games of it!!!!love it!but now de interest getting lower,keke.....

    Well, for me, you'll NEVER be too old for Pokemon. The thing that some guys pick on you and says that Pokemon is for babies is TOTALLY and I mean it wrong. If you realy like Pokemon you MUST play/watch/read it. Not only about Pokemon... Anything, if you like something you MUST do it and don't be shy about it but proud. Cause your choises shows your character and in a thing the matter isn't what you do but how you do it and why. If I like something there's no doubt and prob to do it. And I'm not shy, just proud. All my friends know me as a Pokemon Freak. Even some of them pick on me I don't care cause that thing make me happy and if they don't like it just don't be friends with me. I'm 13 and I will playing Pokemon untill I die..!
     
    well,i did tink i see on de official website dat says de target of pokemon is from 6 -60,hurray!
