Suggestion: Top Poster day to day

    Okay I think we should have a thing at the bottom of the main page of PC where it has the top 20 posters of the day. So what do you guys and girls think about the idea.
     
    What no.

    That'll just promote spam for silly +1 post counts. People will start posting everywhere just because they can without even putting that much thought into their posts. Post count never mattered anyway. Quality over quantity people.
     
    The old PokéCommunity had a page listing the top 10 posters.

    It only encouraged some people to make tons of SPAM posts to top the list and try to beat #1 (who actually didn't make SPAM posts - I miss her).

    I was usually between 6 and 8 on the list without SPAM posts, too.
     
    Mm, I'd probably be okay with one if it were tucked away somewhere (like the "most visited profile" page... wherever that is) but not on the main page. :/ It's probably do-able but I dunno how.

    @Shadow: If you go to member list and sort by posts, it'll give you the top 20 posters overall, if that's what you're talking about. *doesn't ever remember having a daily top 10* o.o

    I think it was something like that, but just with a quicker link to it. I remember Dratini was always the top poster until she left and 22sa came and beat her record in a few days.
     
    Despite me wanting to go all for this, I know ind t shall not be. As Shadow and Lightning already pointed out, it just gives SPAMmers a new thing to do.

    And apperently, Old Pokecommunity had it, and they experienced first hand the results. So it makes sense not to have it done.

    All that, and the fact that I'd never make it on the list anyways :P

    So in the end, I'm against the idea. :P
     
    I think it's kinda a good idea and kinda a bad idea, point being on both sides:
    1. Yes there would be alot of spam (bad idea)
    2. what about those that post in the "it doesn't count" threads?? (bad idea)
    3. would be an incentive to get on here, post and be active (good idea)
     
    Nah,too much spam.
    People who dont get on the top 20 will feel left =(
