    This thread is asking you: Which starter do you think is the best? Please give ACTUAL reasons not: It looks cool, it's my favorite color, etc... Give actual reasons! So let us begin!

    Example:

    I have to say Piplup, because of the defense it gets when it evolves into Prinplup and Empoleon. It can also learn the move Grass Knot which is very useful in certain battles. Dispite it's new weaknesses, a good team can help counter this.
