Uber battles

I've been wondering, I was looking at uber battles and they barely bring a special wall but some seem to put in just a physical wall as I've seen OU and UU battles that people just bring attackers and not walls. I thought it is wise to bring 1 physical wall and 1 special wall with 2 physical sweepers and 2 special sweepers, what happened?

Back when things were much less sophisticated, maybe, but in order to cope with the introduction of more Pokemon (and, by extension, features), one has to adapt.
