Yes i know its fail-ish this gen, well no not fail-ish, just not as good as it was last.

- Mean look / Curse
- Toxic / Dark pulse ??
- Baton Pass

I know the usual way to run is not to have an attacking move, but im not just flapping around if its my last pokemon. Dark Pulse 2HKO Gengar and Azelf and other weak ghosts/Psychics, whilst Toxic is good if i can trap stuff with mean look and then Baton Pass to a counter. Curse is also great for Baton Passing to slow stuff .

Any ideas and suggestion ??

Unfortunately, Dark Pulse is far too situational to be of use. If my Gya Taunts it, it ain't fighting back with Dark Pulse. Especially with no IV's invested.

Yeah i see what you mean, although Umbreon itself can learn taunt hmmmm...

It's not fast enough to get Taunt in,as Taunt is a non-attacking move,so Gyarados would still cripple it.

If you can Taunt it on the switch in is what i meant. It also stops Skarmory etc. from Whilwinding/Roaring it away once you have Cursed up seeing as Roar and Whirlwind go last.

I understand what you mean though, it might be rather situational/novelty.

Recover
Psychic
Night Shade
