hya,i love breeding and chaining.i heard som rumors:breeding a shiny pkmn with ditto(not only ditto i think)gives u another shiny,breeding a pkmn with a shiny ditto(only after 19other breeds with the same ditto)givs u a shiny.breed tips:when hatching eggs if u got a pkmn with the flame body ability,the steps to hatch are cut to half,the cycling road is the best location to breed.chaining tips:anytime when starting to hunt shinys,stay in the middle of the big grass patch lot.more to come

Those things about shiny breeding: False
The thing about Magma Armour/ Flame Body: I think it's a third
Cycling Road thing: False; in D/P it's route 209-210
Chaining: True, but it's good to be on one side more than the other sometimes, to make sure you know which is farther away.

Also wrong. Parents do not affect the chances of shinyness in the offspring

There's a better place if you don't mind a bit more effort, but this is open to personal preference and there is no definate answer

Hiya guys. I'm rather new to the Pokemon scene (in the sense that I've never really taken it seriously, which I am now).

I've just recently recieved a Totodile over WiFi, and I trained it into a Croconaw. Well, I decided that I wanted more Totodiles, so I began to breed a Marril and the Croconaw. I've raised about 13 eggs, and all of them have been Marrils. What am I doing wrong?
