    Uncharted Waters [IC Thread]
This RP is Rated-16 (For blood, minor language, and violence)
This is set in a parallel Pokémon World, Wayard, containing a single mass of land.
    Terra.

Naval Headquarters, Second of Klang, Year 17xx, 11:30 Hour of the Solrock

Fleet Admiral Jin "Bolt" Inozama and the Naval Army were head-over-heels in the issue of the missing Essences. After a few weeks since The Forsaken announced himself, the headquarters were working on determining who the Forsaken really is. The letters could not be traced back to their origin, the handwriting was changing every time, and even the return addresses are switching back and forth to at least five spot in the world. None of his letter that followed gave much information, except that he is now targeting the third Essence, Mew's Gene, responsible for the propagation of each species. The headquarters were further spurred to activity. The army was becoming nervous. Jin could feel the tension in the air, especially from Yale.

"Supreme Admiral," a messenger arrived. It was a Golduck. "Message had arrived from the Pirate Council." He handed Yale the scroll, and retreated out the room. Yale and his Admirals were in the middle of a meeting. Bolt, Quake, and Flood attended. Only Yami, the mysterious Admiral failed to show up.

"Yami didn't show up," Luna "Flood" Storm said. "

"That was kind of expected, especially from him. Let's see what the Pirate Council has to say," Yale announced.

"To the Naval Army. We are not under your jurisdiction. However, we have considered the threat very real. We will be holding a council meeting a few days from the sending of this letter. We will discuss whether to help you in your quest to capture the Forsaken. Updates will be sent through the usual Pelipper Mail. Signed, Heil of the Axe, Pirate Council President."

"That's it. Things are starting to shape up. This meeting is over. Let's get to work."

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pirate Council Headquarters, Somewhere in the Ocean, Third of Klang, Year 17xx, 8:30 Hour of the Solrock

Heil of the Axe, Azure Flute, and Ingo were the only pirates inside the meeting room. None was emitting any sound, aside from the cough Ingo emits once-in-a-while. The meeting with the other pirate captains, Morrison Faglio and Popo was scheduled to be at 9. Heil expected it to start at 9:30, since Popo is notorious for being late. A few minutes later, the door to the meeting room opened with a blast of electricity. Not one of the three pirates flinched. Morrison Faglio entered. The Manectric looked around and took the seat beside Ingo. The Gengar coughed.

"Popo?" He simply asked. Azure flute answered him without sparing him a look.

"Not yet here," she said. "Not that it is unexpected though, Faglio."

"We need to do something with that of his 'self-important' attitude," Morrison Faglio said. "Heil. I'm pretty sure you can influence him in some way or another."

"That is not my job, Faglio. Besides, that is not the reason why I summoned you here," Heil calmly said.

"I know. It's because of the Forsaken right?" Faglio asked. "One could deduce as-"

"I have not said anything yet, Faglio. I have not given you permission to speak, if I remember correctly. Much alone deduce anything." Heil snapped at Faglio. The Manectric just growled and fell silent. Ingo coughed.

The minutes stretched as silence overcame the four greatest Pirates. The door opened. In came a blood-red Furret.

"Heil, Azure Flute, Ingo, Faglio," Popo addressed his equals. "Sorry I'm late."

"Just take you seat, Popo. We will start the meeting," Heil ordered. The Furret took the seat beside Azure Flute. "I summoned you all here because of the request of the Naval Army." Heil looked around. So far, none of his subordinates are having violent reactions. "They request us to help them in their search for the Forsaken."

Azure Flute spoke up. "We are indirectly affected by this. Pirates roam the world and thus the single effect of a missing essence is not much noticed. Besides, we've faced worse dangers on the seas. Also, it is against the Pirate Code to hunt down a fellow pirate. I'm out." She simply said. The others agreed and stood up.

"So you have spoken amongst yourselves before this meeting?" Hei asked, looking at the Roserade in the eyes. "Why come here, when you have decided already?"

"We have not said such a thing but, if we did, it is not against the Council Rules to hold small meetings between a few members regarding things."

"Wait. They promised us one thing. Hear this out, before going," Heil told them the deal. It captured the attention of the other four pirates. "So?"

"The deal is too big to be turned down. Count me and my pirates in," Faglio said.

"Me too," Popo followed up. Ingo nodded in agreement. Heil looked at Azure Flute.

"I don't know. The offer is too important for the pirates to be turned down."

"No matter what you choose, the four of us are going to help," Heil said. A long silence stretched between them.

"Then I'm in." The Council drafted the letter and immediately sent them to their captains.

    Dear Captain,

Being a loyal servant of the Pirate Council, I, together with my Council Heads, summon you to the Headquarters in full faith of your arrival. There are some things that require our attention, and we need your help. Come to the headquarters soon as possible. Also, send word to your respective Council Captain, via Pelipper Mail of course, when you reach the island. I am expecting you.

    Signed,
Heil of the Axe, Pirate Council President.

    Chapter 1: Summons

The RP has started! In your first few posts, you should have stated that you received a letter from your Council Captain, summoning you. Also, proceed to a designated base Island in a few posts also. Things will pick up after. No interaction between pirates first.

What you can do on your posts:

You should state you received the letter
You should make your way to the Pirate Council. [NOTE: You are in the middle of the sea when you received the letter, so technically you will be heading out to terra from the seas.] [NOTE: The world is big, okay? You could reach the headquarters for a day to two days, depending on where you are.]
You should have reached the Pirate Council Headquarters on your posts.
You could make land on Terra itself on one of the Port-towns.
You could explore the Port-town, but no farther than that. Go to the Pirate Council Island after.

The Pirate Council Island is a high-walled, maximum security kind of island. Pirates roam around the grounds of the headquarters. No guards could be seen, as each pirate who is summoned here is considered mighty in his/her own right. It is a privilege to be summoned to the headquarters.

    Yuna "Temptress" Amore
    South East Sea Zone

The candles cast a dim light throughout the ship's common room. Even though it is called the common room, there are only two pirates inside. Most pirates, especially the Dream Magi Pirates, prefer being above-deck, as they could feel the world with their own body. They prefer feeling the sea breezes, hearing the exploring Pelippers and Wingulls cry on the skies. Very rarely do they spend their time locked up in their rooms below, and never on a clear sky. However, during this moment, Yuna "Temptress"Amore and her, first-mate, Sora "Dark Helm" Invidia, took the opportunity to meditate in the silence of the common room. They left the control of the ship to their third member and the other lesser pirates. Yuna and Sora needed the time to meditate again.

The air inside the common room felt heavy. The room was steel-reinforced to protect the Pirates in case the ship comes under attack. Not that many would be here when a battle starts. This is just in case of an emergency and is used more frequently in storms rather in battle. The common room is also painted over with a sea-fluid, making it less dense than water. In case the Dreamer's Desire breaks, the common room is a sturdy boat to be and can weather the sea. It is a ship in itself, if we could say such things.
A small fire is flickering in the far corner of the room. Pirates are wary around an element they could not easily control, but heat and warmth is very important on the seas. They try to minimize the size of the fire, while maximizing the heat provided by the fire. Yuna herself tends to it, twice a day, as to ensure the warmth of the common room.

The walls were, despite being made of steel outside, is lined with a really thin line of wood, to give the illusion that the room is completely made of wood. On the walls lined the head of other pirates whom the Dream Magi captured and terminated. All of the heads were no ordinary pirates; all are traitor to the peace pact made by the Pirate Council to the Naval Army. They bypassed the treaty and committed acts of unspeakable consequences. In the end, the Pirate Council and the Naval Army decided that these pirates were a threat to peace, and must be… 'terminated.' Most pirate crews, including the Dream Magi, specialized in bounty hunting, but the bad pirates were running out.

Dark Helm opened her eyes. She gazed upon the meditating figure of her friend and captain, the Temptress. Sora let her meditate for a few more minutes, before speaking.

"Yuna, the visions." Yuna opened jher eyes, and let out a huge sigh. Followed by another.

"Yes, dark times ahead." A knock broke the solemn silence. "Enter!" One of the cabin boys, a Poliwhirl, entered the common room.

"Captain Yuna, a Pelipper delivered a mail. It says it is from Heil of the Axe," the Poliwhirl said. Heil of the Axe is a respected pirate, and leading the Pirate Council. Yuna and Sora has yet to meet him, but admires him greatly of his exploits.

    "Yuna, this is…"

"Yes. It has started." Yuna stood up, and Sora followed.

    Tylor "The Phantom" Grubas
    North East Sea Zone

A small ship currently floated on the sea. It looked like any other ship, save for the flag that flew on the mast. Currently, Thomas was busy navigating the blue mass, every so often looking between a map and a compass to redirect the course a bit. Tylor released a happy sigh as he looked over the loot he had just won from one of the many communities that doted the sea. None of the other players had been very good at hiding their reactions to the cards and five minutes in most had been throwing him death glares. It had been nothing the Sableye couldn't handle, at least at the beginning. He had been in enough situation to know when to quit and when he saw a particularly angry Vilepume readying his poisons that had been the cue to scramble out of there with Taz, aka the Madman.

Tylor enjoyed calling the Croconaw by his self given title. What caused you to be respected? Having a guy named Taz Jr.? Or having a mysterious character calling himself the Madman of the Sea by your side? Tylor looked over at Thomas and called out to him, "Yo, Tom! Get Madman up here! It's split time!"

The machop nodded and ran down below to get his fellow shipmate. Tylor sighed as he reached in and grabbed a ruby that one of the less fortunate players had given up. The man had looked desperate to win back the thousand he had lost, but Tylor couldn't have let an opportunity like this pass. He licked the red gem and bit into it and chewed slowly, enjoying the flavor it brought to his tongue.

As Tylor waited a rolled up piece of paper fell from the sky. Tylor turned to look as a Pelipper flew away. Muttering to himself Tylor grabbed the trash and noticed the seal on it. Immediately he ripped off the seal and his gemstone eyes quickly moved over the words.

Tylor reread it again and began to laugh. "So, it's that funny huh?" Tylor nodded his head at Daron's statement. "Of course! It's hard to believe that we're here at this point, isn't it? Sailing the world, getting treasure, eventually paying back the navy for what they did to you..."

The Charmeleon chuckled and placed his hands behind his head, "Yeah, this is the life. So, how soon before we set out?"

"Why we set out now Daron!" Tylor ran to the wheel and began to steer in earnest. "Yo, crew! Get up here! We have a detour, we're going to the nifty headquarters!" Tylor laughed in earnest as he piloted his ship through the waters.

Taz Jr, Nautilus Morrigan "The Madman of the Seas"
    Belowdecks

Darkness was almost pitch belowdecks, the only source of light being the hallway with the stairs to the deck. The calm waves of the sea caused that gentle creak that was very much appreciated by the sailors and pirates; Nautilus, being laid down lost in thought as always, breathed the heavy air of the room with his eyes still closed - he wasn't sleeping, he was daydreaming.
The Croconaw's emotions were mixed right then, the hatred and vengeful feelings enclosed his mind, tortured it with the visions. Cloysters were climbing onto his father's ship he once commanding, taking away everything he had...

Nautilus heard heavy but fast pacing just outside his room - in the hallway - and identified them as Thomas', the Machop's. He didn't bother getting up, still having his eyes closed, not wanting to let go of the memories, even if they were terrible; the Machop entered the room, kneeled in front of the seemingly sleeping Croconaw.

"Hey, we oughta get on deck, Captain's orders"

The Madman suddenly opened his red eyes and stared at the kneeling Machop with a strange expression, subtly stating that he didn't appreciate anyone interrupting his thoughts.

"Ho, lookit me ye pompous gasbag! Din't seem like I was restin', did I?"

His fearsome, white-teethed smile accompanied his sarcastic tone. The Croconaw slowly got up, grabbed the pirate hat that was laying down the floor.

"No, but how 'bout we go up."

"Can't argue withat. Just gotta grab me duffle, yeah?"

The Machop nodded and walked out of the room. Nautilus looked around to see if he had forgotten anything, noticing the belt with the keys, the "special surprise" bottle of rum that was hanging from it and his old rusty machete. He half shut his eyes in the sight of his father's belongings and promised revenge to the sea monsters.

The gentle wind was blowing atop deck, the Croconaw looking up at the blue sky, the clouds, trying to remember how he admired such a sight somewhen, but now - it was all veiled, somehow. Nautilus heard the voice of his captain.

"Yo, crew! Get up here! We have a detour, we're going to the nifty headquarters!"

Nautilus hastily approached his captain at the front of the ship, with his red eyes widened in surprise.

"A'oy, cap'n, what be the case?"

    Tylor "The Phantom" Grubas
    North East Sea Zone

Tylor just laughed, "Well Madman we are heading to pirate headquarters itself!" He held up the paper, "This little birdy says we need to go as fast as possible and use our genius insight to help the captains!"

Daron sighed, "It didn't say that Tylor."

The Sableye looked to his right giving a Sableye glare, which consisted of him just staring at another for a good ten seconds, to Daron, "Oh yes it did! We are needed there fast!"

Daron rolled his eyes, "I meant about them needing our help. They just want us to attend a meeting. You're always so overly dramatic with these things."

Tylor frowned, "And yet you're always so quick to push that I don't matter. Well, guess what, this little paper means that I do!" He slammed the piece down on the table he had the map and compass on. He turned his attention back to his crew, "Anyway, we have to get there fast and get a note out to Azure Flute on the double! No port towns for us boys, we're gonna be the first there!"

Tylor slightly tilted the wheel, "Thomas open those sails a little wider! We really need to catch some air if we're to get there before the others!"

The machop nodded, "Aye aye captain!" The boat picked up speed as Tylor consulted the map again, "Let's see we're here... so we should be able to reach the headquarters by nightfall! No sleeping or resting until we get there crew! I want this deck shining from the light! No cobwebs, no spills, no nothing! Just because we're the Dread Crew doesn't mean we have to have the ship look like s**t."

Daron chuckled, "I thought that was the whole purpose of the name? So that you wouldn't have to bother cleaning the deck and make others believe that the ship was haunted?"

Tylor gave another Sableye glare, "Shut up Daron."

    Alabaster "The Pseudo Psychic" Zol
    South West Sea Zone

    ***

Blue. Blue as far as the eye could see. Alabaster kept his calm gaze on the ocean as he sat on the deck. The wind was blowing through his fur and sometimes made it hard to breathe. But Alabaster didn't mind. The Mankey was as usual perfectly quiet, he had "wrapped himself in a blanket of thoughts" as he liked to say. Many different things came and went inside of his mind, but the main subject of his thoughts was The Forsaken. This pirate, or at least he claimed to be one, had already stolen two essences. Artifacts that most Pokémon had simply described as tall tales or myths, well at least until now. But who was this "Forsaken" character? What did he want? Was it a question of power? Revenge? Or maybe something else? All of these questions raced through the Pseudo Psychic's mind. Some of them went unanswered, while others got plausible solutions. However nothing was for certain, it never was.

"Takko." The word echoed out Alabaster said it. But nothing really happened,
"Is he asleep?" the Mankey thought. To verify his assumption, Alabaster said it again a little bit louder:
    "Takko."

A few moments and a loud crash later, an Aipom stood promptly on deck. Takko Tripwood looked at his captain with a nervous expression on his face. He had no idea how many times Alabaster had called for him, but he hoped that the number wasn't too great.

"W-What is it captain?" he asked.

"Haven't you noticed?" Alabaster chuckled. He enjoyed Takko's various shenanigans whether they influenced him badly, as many people claimed, or not. He looked back at the ocean, playing with the rings in his ear. Takko frowned, he didn't really like his captain's guessing games since he never got them right. But he tried this time as well. Looking around for something-out-of-the-ordinary, Takko concentrated hard to try and find it. Alabaster smirked and waved the letter that he held in his paw, giving Takko an obvious clue.

"Oh!" the Aipom exclaimed as he noticed the piece of paper, "I knew it was there all along! I was uh… just testing you!" he said with a chuckle. The two monkey-Pokémon broke out in a loud laugh-fest at the joke. Alabaster tried to wipe away the tears as they came flowing down his cheeks, but he was unable to. Eventually, both of them toppled and fell onto the deck folding themselves double with laughter. The joke wasn't particularly funny, it was more the situation that was hilarious.

After they both had calmed down a bit, Alabaster gave Takko the letter with a slight chuckle. The Aipom took the letter and almost broke out into laughter again, but he quickly regained his concentration and looked at the letter.

    "Dear Captain,

Being a loyal servant of the Pirate Council, I, together with my Council Heads, summon you to the Headquarters in full faith of your arrival. There are some things that require our attention, and we need your help. Come to the headquarters soon as possible. Also, send word to your respective Council Captain, via Pelipper Mail of course, when you reach the island. I am expecting you.

    Signed,
Heil of the Axe, Pirate Council President."

When Takko finished, he had a mischievous smile on his face. This was getting more and more interesting!
"It's about that Forsaken dude, right captain?" he asked.

"Yes, I believe so." Alabaster said. He looked out towards the sea again, starting at it as if there was something out in that huge body of water. His gaze hardened as he saw a movement in the ocean, almost as if he was preparing for something.
"Takko. If you had the knowledge that you couldn't swim, then would you still be a pirate?" he asked, continuing to eye the sea.

"Is this about your father, Alabaster?" Takko said.

"Well, in a sense." The Mankey chuckled. "It's just that he couldn't swim due to his fruit, yet he still chose to sail the open seas even with this knowledge…"

"Hah. Your father was fully aware of it, but he chose not to dwell on such trivial complications. So neither should you. He was a great pirate, but even though he's gone everything moves on." Takko said calmly.

"That's what puzzles me." Alabaster stated. "One moment you are a really famous and well-known person feared as well as admired by others. But the next day, you're dead. Nonexistent. Gone." He made a small pause. "People grieve for you, while others may celebrate your death. But wait a few weeks, and all of the commotion is gone. You're just a finished chapter in history, never to be visited again most likely." Alabaster's eyes softened, the movement out in the ocean had stopped.

"I guess that's just how the world works…" Takko shrugged. He missed Orwell too, but there was no need to get all emotional about it. Several years had passed since then. But Alabaster wasn't the one to forget about something completely, and why would he be?

"I know. It puzzles me and intrigues me greatly. However, I guess that it's just another mystery that we'll never solve…" the Mankey felt a wind blow through his fur again. He sighed and looked at Takko with a hint of sadness in his eyes.
"Very WELL!" he exclaimed and flashed a big smile, "Would you be so kind to go and fetch Arthur for me? After all, he needs to know about this!" Alabaster said and gently waved the letter.

Taz Jr. Nautilus Morrigan "The Madman of the Seas"
    NE Zone

"Well Madman we are heading to pirate headquarters itself!" Tylor holded the piece of papper in front of Nautilus' eyes, "This little birdy says we need to go as fast as possible and use our genius insight to help the captains!"

Nautilus kept a straight, uninterested face. His red eyes continued to stare at the letter, him giving off the feeling he wanted to rip it apart for some reason; he wasn't up for a meeting with the other pirates. However, he was glad to leave the Northeast Zone.
The Croconaw lifted his hand to scratch the fins under his pirate hat, almost making it fall; the wind was getting stronger now.
His attention fell onto Tylor once again, with the blue of the sea as the background of his captain's silhouette.

"Oh yes it did! We are needed there fast!"

"And yet you're always so quick to push that I don't matter. Well, guess what, this little paper means that I do!" Tylor slammed the letter onto the table. Nautilus was staring at the sea again, as usual ignoring his captain's nonsense. It had become a habit to him, turning away his attention once the captain started speaking with the air; he well knew that he wouldn't be able to understand a word, and no matter how many times he asked Tylor who he was speaking with, he wouldn't tell him.

"Anyway, we have to get there fast and get a note out to Azure Flute on the double! No port towns for us boys, we're gonna be the first there!"

The Madman's eyes flashed, although reflecting the clear waters of the NE Zone, he patted his pirate hat and grabbed his tear-like water pendant, the one his mother had given him. He heard Tylor tilting the wheel and shouting something to their friend.

"Thomas open those sails a little wider! We really need to catch some air if we're to get there before the others!"

Nautilus smiled and nodded, the ambition of always being the first one conquering the others of revenge and his lust for some trouble; he was now looking at his captain with full attention.

"Let's see we're here... so we should be able to reach the headquarters by nightfall! No sleeping or resting until we get there crew! I want this deck shining from the light! No cobwebs, no spills, no nothing! Just because we're the Dread Crew doesn't mean we have to have the ship look like s**t."

The Croconaw looked at the excited Sableye and nodded once again, although the captain glared somewhere on his right, like he was listening to something.

    "Shut up Damon."

"Yarr, cap'n, be glad we're leavin' these cursed waters. D' I tell ye 'bout the stories that pirate was blabberin' 'bout in that port?"

Nautilus continued speaking without waiting for an answer, with a small smile on his face.

"They sayin' 'bout a huge sea monster that appears only when it rains thunders and crashes the pirate ships wanderin' in the far Northeastern Sea Zone... survivors speakin' 'bout a giant ghost that protects these waters!"

The Croconaw had raised his arms and leaned forward towards his captain, in an attempt to inspire dread with his sayings; he always did that when he was telling a story, he still kept that smile on his face. But then he realised his captain had ordered something, so he dashed off to the mast, opening a barrel and grabbing a cleaning broom from inside, and started cleaning the deck.

(OOC: To note, I rushed this quite a bit because I wanted to get this post out of the way.)

Arthur was in the room he shared with his captain's first mate, Takko, an aipom. He was rolling around in his bed, which was just a nest made of straw. He was wondering what kind of stories he would tell the next time they would hit land. He was wondering about what kind of children he would meet and how he would entice them with his stories. Most important of all, he was wondering what he would see next of the big world once the ship docked.

The Delcatty always wanted to be a pirate. He always wanted to have adventures of his own, just like all those heroes in all of his stories. He was living it now, his dream. His stories were being heard by many pokemon across the world and he was traveling and having adventures. He was absorbing the world with his eyes and he had Alabaster to thank.

Alabaster, a mankey, was the captain of The Scorching Minds pirate crew. The mankey had invited him to join one day when Arthur was going to leave the island to visit another to spread his stories. Of course to actually get in officially, he had to duel Takko. He had his butt handed to him on a silver platter, but the mankey captain saw something in him. Whatever it was, he was grateful to the captain. He had been part of the crews for two years now and he didn't regret it for one bit.

    "Arthur!"

"What?!" Arthur screamed in shock. It was Takko.

"Captain wanted me to inform you that we are heading to headquarters," Takko stated.

"Headquarters? Why?" The delcatty asked. Arthur knew what he was talking about, but he had to admit he barely remembered the place at all. The headquarters was just like it sounded. It was a headquarters for pirates. Specifically, it was a headquarters for the pirate council. It baffled Arthur about why there was a system like this in the first place, but he found it better not to question or he would get a headache.

"You've heard about that Forsaken have you?" The aipom asked while scratching his head with his hand/tail like appendage.

"Yeah, what kind of pirate hasn't?"

"He's made his first move," The aipom stated.

"First move?" Arthur asked, tilting his head to the side.

"He stole two weather essences," Takko explained further.

    "What!?"

    Tylor "The Phantom" Grubas
    North East Sea Zone
Tylor continued to push his ship forward, crackling with laughter. His crew was hard at work cleaning the deck as they should be! He constantly checked his map and compass, adjusting his course as necessary. Daron meanwhile sat on the side of the ship, "You know, we need to prepare something to put in front of the headquarters once we get there. You know, a kind of 'ha we got here first!' thing."

Tylor thought it over and smiled, "Why didn't I think of that!"

Daron puffed out his chest, "Because I'm the smart one."

Tylor chuckled and called down to the crew, "Hey Thomas! Get up hear and man the wheel! I've got a project to do!"

The machop soon had the wheel in hand as Tylor scurried down below deck. He made his way to his hammock and searched the barrel he kept all kinds of junk in before he found some pieces of paper and a large wooden stick with a sharpened edge. Daron finished telling him of what he had planned and Tylor couldn't help but crackle with laughter. "That is rich Daron!"

Tylor spent only a good ten minutes drawing on the paper, having to stop every now and then when the boat swayed but he finally finished his masterpiece. He went to another barrel that was filled with valuable supplies that he had paid for and grabbed out some glue and glued the paper onto the stick.

Tylor looked back over his creation and crackled again, "This is going to make us legendary!"

The captain wasted no time in running back up deck to his crew, "Feast your eyes on this boys!"

Tylor unveiled his creation to show that he had drawn a crude outline of his own head complete with his gem stone eyes as well as a wide grin on his face. The sign didn't need to say anymore. As long as Tylor got there and placed this in the ground where all the other crews would see it they would all see the same message. He had beaten them to the finish line and he had proven his worth and determination to be always be first.

Tylor looked up with a toothy smile, "So, what you think?"

Thomas smiled, "It looks great captain!"

Tylor chuckled, "Of course it does Thomas! Just wait until we get this set up and the others come rolling in just to see my face laughing at them! It'll be the talk of the pirates, or at least a side conversation that would keep their interest for a good five minutes!"

It wasn't everyday you'd see The Wind Cradle in such a sorry state. Its main sail was none but tattered rags, and the rest of the frigate wasn't in a much better shape. And it was readily apparent that its owner, Jeanis Rousseau, was not happy about her pride and joy's condition. She paced back and forth on the deck, sums and numbers going through her head.

"Blasted storm!" she cursed silently. There was no way the ship could be repaired by the meager repairing supplies she kept belowdecks. This would require a trip to a shipyard, and the repairs were going to cost a fortune and then some. It would probably empty the treasure chest she just acquired from that lone island on the North East Sea Zone--and oh, the troubles it took for her to acquire that treasure! "Heh, you like messing with me, do you, Arceus?" the Espeon said, her eyes fixed on the ominous clouds marking the storm she just passed.

"Don't ye go an' get yer panties in a bunch, Nissy," Astram, her first mate, chimed. "I know a darn good shipyard 'round these parts, an' my uncle runs it. I bet he could fix poor ol' Cradle up in a jiffy for nothin' but a pair o' doubloons."

"Fine. Just steer her there," Jeanis said glumly.

"Heh, you done forget already, Nissy? Cradle done gone and lost 'er rudder in that there storm. The shipyard ain't far from 'ere, so I'm thinking we could move 'er there with a good Psychic or two, eh?"

    "...Fine," Jeanis replied.

Astram smiled. "It's due west. On the count o' three, okay? One, two, three!"

Immediately, Astram's and Jeanis's eyes gave off a purple glow. The same color of purple light surrounded The Wind Cradle, and the ship began to switch its course. The frigate began moving at a quicker and quicker pace, leaving bubbling ripples in its wake.

    ***

"Shiver me timbers, mate, let them winds blow, c'mon all ye mateys an' say YO-HO--"

"WOULD YOU STOP IT ALREADY?!" a not-entirely-amused Jeanis yelled.

"C'mon, Nissy, don' be a stick in' the sea," Astram replied. "I think I deserve meself a shanty or two for savin' our ship, don' I?"

"Fine. Sing your head off," Jeanis replied, still annoyed. "Just drive Cradle to Terra."

"Hm? Why are we headin' to Terra, now?" Astram asked, eyebrow raised at the prospect of abandoning the hunt for the treasure they were hunting. "I thought we were goin' to South East Sea Zone to hunt for that lil' treasure some ol' salt left?"

"We're being called by Captain Heil," Jeanis said in reply. "Everyone is. You've heard of The Forsaken, yes? Well, he's got two weather essences under his belt. I'll bet that storm we were in was one of his works--if he caused storms as vicious as that one, you could probably see why they're panicking about it."

Astram nodded in understanding, before spinning the steering wheel. "Terra it is, then."

Taz Jr. Nautilus Morrigan "The Madman of the Seas"
    NE Sea Zone

The pirate boat floated through the sea, Nautilus on top of the mast staring into nothing with the binoculars that were always strapped on his neck. He was getting bored of this traveling state; he loved the sea, but he was itching for some action.
He grinned evily and put down his binoculars, thinking of starting a fight-for-fun with the crew. Nah, cap'n said we're on a mission, an' mission it be!, he thought, shaking his head while still smiling.
Then, amongst the sound of the waves, Nautilus heard the laughter of his captain, the Croconaw immediately jumping down the mast to land next to the Machop who was staring at something Tylor was holding.

"Feast your eyes on this boys!"

Tylor holded up the paper and Nautilus smirked, wondering what the captain was upto. The captain had that ambituous face on; Nautilus realised what he was going to use it for.

    "So, what you think?"

    "It looks great captain!"

Said Thomas with a smile, the Croconaw smiling as well, in a weird way though, like he was trying to contain himself from laughing. Tylor continued speaking and Nautilus raised his arms to pull down his pirate hat as subtly as he could so he wouldn't offend captain's drawing skills.

Tylor chuckled, "Of course it does Thomas! Just wait until we get this set up and the others come rolling in just to see my face laughing at them! It'll be the talk of the pirates, or at least a side conversation that would keep their interest for a good five minutes!"

    "Pfffhahahah"

Nautilus started laughing at the thought of the other pirate's faces, he dropped down his hat and grabbed his knees, just in case the laughter got worse; he was still laughing when he tried to speak.

"Hohoho, cap'n, that be one fine idea o' yours! Lessee there faces when they crawl outta th' bunghole!"

    He stopped laughing at last, put the worn out hat on his head again and grabbed the bottle on his belt and drank it all, blinking his eyes a few times in joy from the special rum. Then his eyes widened in surprise as he looked behind captain's shoulders, he launched himself from the ground onto the mast and started climbing to the top, looking far in the horizon;

    "Avast, land-ho! Beautiful Terra!"

He shouted on top of his lungs while laughing it out.

    Tylor "The Phantom" Grubas
    North East Sea Zone

Tylor crackled, "Yes! Ha Ha! Land!" Tylor eagerly opened the sails a bit more as the ship picked up speed. "Oh, we are so going to be there first! Get ready to disembark once we get there crew! We'll show just how dedicated we are and we'll in turn get the best job they'll be offering!"

Daron rolled his eyes, "How do you even know they will offer a job? If it is a job then wouldn't it make sense to give everyone the job so that they'll know that there will be multiple people who will be able to get it done?"

Tylor frowned, "You know what... stop talking Daron. Like right now. I really want to have my fantasy right now so just stop here and now before I end up ignoring you for the rest of the day."

Daron grinned, "Aw, you wouldn't do that. You can't. Didn't you learn something that first year we set sail?"

Tylor just looked away to their destination, "This will be the first step to proving ourselves truly to Azure Flute, besides showing our knack for bringing in coins. We'll have another use and then we'll just show how varied our skills are!"

Tylor ran over and grabbed the invitation that he had been given. Daron sat on the railing, "Once we get there make sure to set up a card game. I could go for getting a few thousand."

"But we just won a big sack like, what, a few hours ago?"

"Yeah, well I want some more! Besides, it's always fun to see that look on a face when they realize that they've lost everything and then they get really angry and then they start throwing every attack they have at you and you send out a Toxic and then we run to the ship and set off into the sunset. It gets the blood pumping."

Tylor sweat dropped, "You don't have any blood."

    "Oh, yeah. I forgot that."

    Yuna "Temptress" Amore
    Southe East Sea Zone

Yuna went outside to the deck of her ship. Her crew were mostly resting from the tiring duties of directing the ship. Right now, Desire is following the path of the wind, towards west if Yuna is not mistaken. She looked at the sky. The clouds were gathering which is not a good sight for most pirates, but for the Magi, rain and storm is not much of a problem, as Desire is coated with a the sea-fluid. It may break, yes. But it will never sink as a whole.

"Sora, call Damper. He is probably in his cabin now," Yuna ordered to her first-mate. Sora nodded and retreated back to the cabins. Damper is their third crew member, and is always in charge of the ship whenever Yuna is not around. Sora is not a capable ship-leader, but she is a good partner seer, whereas Damper is the total opposite. No talent at all in future reading, but a better pirate overall. Even Yuna admits that Damper is more capable of captaining the ship than her.

"Magi, let me have your attention," Yuna said to her crew members. Immediately, all of them, numbering fifteen, looked at her with interest. "I know you have been tired lately, of all the sailing we are doing. Yes, it had been weeks since we hit dry land. The time has ended. We will set sail for land!" Everybody cheered. Pirates are sea people, of course, but they need their weekly dose of land. Besides, it is comforting to feel a stable ground beneath your feet.

"Yuna, I am here. What do you want?" Damper came out the cabins with Sora. The Reuniclus eyed his captain suspiciously. "I set sail for the western zones, as you said earlier."

"And now, I must ask you another thing. Set sail northwards."

"Where exactly northwards?" Damper asked. It took Yuna a moment before she answered.

"The great Port-Town of L'Jutal. We will dock in Terra."

    Tylor "The Phantom" Grubas
    North East Sea Zone

Tylor couldn't help but giggle with glee as they came closer and closer to the headquarters. He looked around, no other ships were here, so he was first! He eagerly eased his vessel into one of the docks. Giggling Tylor called down to the crew, "We're here boys! Thomas grab my cards and the die! Oh, this will be the best setup ever!"

Tylor grabbed the letter he was given and jumped over the railing onto the deck. Damon appeared instantly right next to him, "You know, you could break a leg that way. How would you get around then?"

"Damon, damon. I would just buy a new leg!" Tylor crackled with laughed. Thomas emerged from below deck and Tylor led the way off his ship. Tylor practically ran to the grassy area and hammered in the sign with his own bare fists. He looked it over for a second and grinned, "Ha! perfect! Those loser will never see this coming to them!"

Tylor turned to his crewmates, "Shall we head on over and meet with our dear Azure Flute?"

    Alabaster "The Pseudo Psychic" Zol
    South West Sea Zone
    ---------------------------------------------------

Alabaster turned to the ocean again, eyeing it to have something to do before Takko came back. Eventually, the Aipom showed up with that usual, mischievous grin on his face.

"I've woken Arthur up. He seemed quite surprised over the Forsaken's… "move"." Takko said while gently swaying his tail from side to side.

"I see no reason why he wouldn't be. It isn't really a regularity that someone steals two artifacts that half the people, or even more, have dismissed as myths." The Mankey turned around to face Takko. A slight shine of amusement appeared in his eye.
"Well, I guess it's off to Terra now. Takko, if you would." He gestured towards the rudder of the Burning Ape,

"Why of course, my dear captain!" Takko laughed and set his course towards the rudder. But as he usually did, the Aipom took all kinds of detours before climbing up to the mast and then jumping down from there. He landed promptly before the rudder, and without hesitating, he started steering the ship towards Terra.

Alabaster smiled as the boat started to change its course, now heading for the giant landmass hosting the Pirate Council. He looked down to see that the Burning Ape's stem started to cut the waves, almost as if they were butter. Alabaster quietly sat there, closed his eyes and assumed the Lotus position. The sound of the waves in his ears helped the Mankey concentrate enough to wipe his mind completely blank. Not a single thought anywhere. But if he would've thought something, it would've probably been how joyous it was that he was able to wipe his mind clean. In his calm state, Alabaster almost looked like a statue. He didn't let the bigger heaps of water that splashed up budge him.

Takko looked down at his captain and sighed, he was always a bit worried that Alabaster would fall off the ship and into the vast ocean. Meanwhile, the Mankey was so deep into his meditation that all sound disappeared. No waves, no Wingull or Pelipper-squawks, no nothing.

    ---

Alabaster quickly opened his eyes. The sun was shining brightly, blinding him a little. The Mankey held up his paw in front of his face to ease his vision. It seemed to be a bit early, maybe around lunch-time, that wasn't really important. What was important on the other hand, was the fact that the day was younger than Alabaster remembered it. Now this could only mean two things: One, Alabaster and his crew had found a way to travel through time or Two, Alabaster had fallen asleep during his meditation and had now woken up. The second thought was probably the most correct one so the Mankey decided to go with it. He looked up at the rudder where Takko was still standing, humming a jolly little tune while letting an occasional "We are!" escape his lips.

"Takko?" Alabaster asked. The Aipom looked down when he heard his name being called, a smile came upon his lips when he noticed that his captain was awake.

"G'mornin' captain!" he almost sung out, "How are ya' feeling?"

"When… tell me Takko, have I been asleep this whole time?" the Mankey asked.

"You bet you have! In fact, we're almost at the Terra!" Takko gave off a mischievous smile and pointed towards the horizon. The great landmass known to everyone as Terra was in clear sight. After a minute of admiring the big island, Takko broke the silence. "Oh, I need to tell you before I forget. I moved you from your spot since I thought that you might fall off." Alabaster looked down. He didn't see the sea anymore, only the vast ocean of wood that was The Burning Ape's deck.
"But I gotta say," Takko began, "You've gained a whole lotta' weight since I last tried to lift ya'!"

"Of course, I was just a baby back then." Alabaster said. "By the way," he continued, "Do you remember where we keep the papers for writing letters?"

"Why yes I do captain!" Takko continued humming that tune as he tilted the rudder a bit to get the ship in a straight line with Terra. He then let go of it and rushed down below decks. A few seconds later he came back with a feather pen and a piece of paper.

"Thank you." Alabaster said as he received the items. The Mankey then sat down and proceeded to write the letter.

    "Dear Captain Popo,

I write this letter to inform you that I've reached Terra and will now be making my way to the Pirate Council. I look forward to gain more information about this "Forsaken" character, if that is what you're providing, and I hope that I will be of aid to you regardless of the matter.

    Sincerely, Alabaster Zol."

"So, what do you think?" Alabaster said and handed Takko the letter. The Aipom read it thoroughly and then said with a snicker,

"Really nice captain. Maybe you should add a heart at the end for out dear captain Popo?" he teased.

"No, I left it blank so you could have that honor. I know how much you'd love to." Alabaster said with a laugh. Takko laughed along with his captain, he was glad that they shared the same childish humor most of the time. Otherwise they probably wouldn't be able to enjoy moments like these to the fullest.

"So, shouldn't you send it?" he asked.

"In due time dear Takko. Don't be so impatient." Alabaster said.

"Hah, it's just that I'm curious about the Forsaken."

"We're all curious about the Forsaken," the Mankey replied, "By the way, you're curious about almost everything new. Sometimes I wonder why I don't just call you George instead of Takko…"

    "I'm sorry, what?" Takko said.

    "Nothing." Alabaster chuckled.

    ---

The sun shone brightly, and Alabaster had to hold up a paw before his face so he wouldn't get blinded by it. It was in the middle of the day, and Terra was just in front of them. The Mankey smiled, he was excited to see what this summoning was about. It was obvious that the matter regarded the Forsaken, but Alabaster liked to take all possibilities into account. As the ship moved closer and closer, he felt his fur tingle more and more until it was almost unbearable.

"Captain?" Alabaster was interrupted by someone talking to him. He looked back to spot Arthur behind him.

"Yes Arthur?" he replied and turned to the Terra again.

"I was just wondering, should we pick up some supplies in the Port-Town?"

"No. There is simply no time for that. It would be incredibly rude to show up late for a meeting of this caliber, we take care of the supplies later." Alabaster said calmly. He was aware that most people of great power hated to wait and he wouldn't want to face the wrath of the Pirate Council.

Eventually, the Scorching Mind Crew reached the island of the Pirate Council. Before they had done so though, Alabaster had sent the letter to Captain Popo commanding the Pelipper to deliver it at top speed.

"Ah, it's nice to be on land isn't it?" Alabaster said as they made land on the island.

"Indeed it is captain!" Takko cheered as he got down on the ground, checking that The Burning Ape was completely docked to the island.

"Well then, off we go!" Alabaster Zol took a few steps towards the Pirate Council itself, his eyes were for once gleaming with excitement. Much like when a little child receives a present, anxious of what will be inside.

    Tylor "The Phantom" Grubas
    Pirate Headquarters

Tylor giggled with glee, "Hold up one sec crew! Need to go get something." Tylor ran back onto his ship and went down to the lower deck and quickly grabbed a pencil and paper. He rushed back up and quickly scribbled a note.

Yo, Azure Flute. This is The Phantom speaking! Got here just like you wanted! Anyways, we all know that you called me due to my awesome skills so whatever you need whenever you need it, I'll be right there ready to give my support! Just give me a holler anytime, cause let's face it, I'm the best there is!

    Signed with awesomeness,
    Tylor Gurbas

Tylor giggled and ran back off his ship to the crew. "Well, I got everything I need!" He saw Thomas was staring off. Tylor got in front the machop, "Hey, what you looking at?" He turned and gasped as he saw another ship had docked on the island as well. Tylor gritted his teeth, "No way! I was here first! Didn't they see my awesome sign!?"

He then saw a Mankey, followed by his crew heading straight to the Council. Tylor of course knew his name, Alabaster. The so called 'Pseudo Psychic'. Tylor gritted his teeth and turned to his crew. "Alright, we were the first ones here and we deserve the spoils! Follow me now!" Tylor wasted no time in sprinting right past Alabaster and stopping right in front of him, blocking his path. "Yo, monkey face! I got here first! That means I'm the first one in! No one else! I put up a sign and everything!"

Thomas just sighed behind Tylor, "Well, here we go again."

Damon was also angry, "Yeah, we were here first! Tylor, make fun of his weird tail!"

Tylor grinned, "I wouldn't even think of coming in second place with someone who has a purple tail!"

Damon grinned, "Now insult his tattoo!"

Tylor looked over at Damon, "Why would I do that? Tattoos are cool."

Damon shook his head, "No they aren't. My mom always told me if we were meant to have tattoos we would have been born with them."

Tylor frowned, "Your mom is weird."

Damon rolled his eyes, "Says the guy who keeps seeing a dead person."

Tylor gritted his teeth as he jabbed a finger at Damon, "Well, that wouldn't be happening if you would just leave!"

Damon just chuckled, "And I'm just too stubborn for that."

Tylor groaned, "Tell me about it! Wait... what were we doing again?"

Damon sighed, "Asserting our dominance to the Makey."

    Tylor grinned, "Oh yeah!"

Tylor turned back to Alabaster, "We were here first so that's final!"

    Alabaster "The Pseudo Psychic" Zol
    Council Island
    --------------------------------------------

Alabaster strolled along happily, finally he was soon going to see what this meeting was all about. As he began to take the first notes out of a song, he was suddenly interrupted by a Sableye crossing his path talking about "being first". Of course Alabaster recognized him, it was Tylor Grubas. Though he was often called "The Phantom" by most people. Alabaster had heard many things about this man, one of which being that he always seemed to talk into thin air as if there was somebody there. There could be many explanations for this, that he simply was mad, that he had a childish personality that let him have an imaginary friend without feeling shameful about it among other things.

Apparently he was mad at Alabaster for going on the island... The Sableye claimed to be first on this island and thus he had the right to get in the Council before anyone else. The Mankey simply shook his head at this claim, how unnessecary, did Grubas think that this was some form of race? Whatever he thought, it was wasting Alabaster's time and he didn't like that.

"Oh? You were here first Grubas? And you put up a sign to show your superiority to all who arrived after you? I'm impressed, bravo I say, bra-vo!" Alabaster said in a sarcastic tone while clapping his hands slowly. At Tylor's insult, the shine of excitement disappeared from the Mankey's eyes and they reverted to being cold and calm like always.
"You mock my tail for being purple? Not only is that an incredibly stupid argument, but it also indicates that it would be okay for me to mock your big, crystal-eating mouth. Now, I wouldn't really do that as I, unlike you, have a sense of decency and respect towards others."

"Ehrm, captain? The meeting?" Takko said gently as he walked up beside Alabaster.

"Oh right! Just give me a mintue to deal with Grubas over here." the Mankey said. He then turned to Tylor as the Saybleye seemed to be in a discussion with... the air.
"Ah, one of your most memorable characteristics are showing." Alabaster began, "You know something Grubas? In all of the rumors I've heard about you there always seems to be someone else involved. Sometimes he is called Damon while other times he goes unnamed. I've always wondered about this Damon character, is he simply a figment of your imagination or is he... more than that?"

    "Ehrm, Captain." Takko said again.

"Oh yeah, sorry sorry." Alabaster said. He then fixed his gaze at Tylor, his eyes were now serious as if there was something important going on.
"You may think that this is a game Grubas, but it is not. I'm not here for any sort of price or recognition of my abilities, I'm here for the information. You may go first into the Council, I couldn't care less. But if you intend to halt me from getting to the meeting," Alabaster's hand went up in flames as he activated the Fire Punch, "I will have to get violent. But remember, this is not a threat, it is a promise." the flames on the Mankey's hand died out.

    Tylor "The Phantom" Grubas
    Pirate Headquarters

Tylor was annoyed enough when Alabaster started a big speech against him but the moment the manky said the word 'imagination' Tylor got angry. Alabaster even tried to intimidate him with some fire, but Tylor was already strung up. "Don't you dare care Damon fake!" Shouted Tylor. "You know nothing about him you-"

Before Tylor could shout anymore Thomas grabbed hold of his captain and pulled him back. "Easy Captain! He's not worth it!"

Tylor squirmed in Thomas' grip, "Let me go! He is so worth it!"

Tylor gave a trademark Sableye glare at Alabaster, "You are so going down!"

Damon sighed, "Tylor, you've heard the stuff about him. He's pretty dangerous. What are you going to do? Start a fight right here?"

"Hell yes I will! He insulted you!"

Damon sighed again, "Tylor, you're going about this wrong. Act like you're over his insult, look like your going to walk away... and then you bash him with a Shadow Ball and run like hell!"

    Tylor frowned.

"This will work, trust me. Now do it!"

Tylor stopped struggling against Thomas and turned to Alabaster. "You know Alaby, you're right. I shouldn't have said that insult. It was childish and stupid. I know I can be impish at times, but that's just me. It's like how you are too smart sometimes. That's you. Anyway, I'll take my leave with my crew then."

Tylor walked away as Thomas looked at him, "You mean all that captain?"

Tylor waited for a moment before he turned to Thomas, "Nope!" He twisted around and threw a Shadow Ball right at Alabaster. "RUN!" Tyron shouted as he grabbed Thomas and Madman and ran like hell right for the Council headquarters.

Arthur found it very disheartening that they weren't going to stop in any of the towns that littered the awkward looking, circular island. Arthur had come up with a story lately and spent a while refining it. He wanted to tell his story to the masses and gauge the reaction he would receive. Arthur, at the moment, found it one of his best poems as it was about a hero on the brink of insanity.

At one point, Arthur was going to ask Alabastar if they could stop in one of the towns so he could tell his story to the people. He began about asking about supplies, but when the captain gave his reply, Arthur had completely changed his mind and attempted to push his new story to the back of his mind for a later date. Arthur was now walking beside his captain and his first mate obediently, but he couldn't help the occasional looks behind him whenever they passed by a town.

A big gust of wind and dirt from the ground blew across my face. I had stopped to rub my eyes and cough up the dirt that had managed to enter my mouth. Takko was patting my back with his hand appendage that rested on his tail.

"Yo, monkey face! I got here first! That means I'm the first one in! No one else! I put up a sign and everything!"

When Arthur managed to get all the dirt out of his system, he let out a groan. It was Tylor, and Arthur could recognize his voice anywhere. Arthur, in a way, detested the "stupid" Ssybaleye. The captain enjoyed making fun of Alabastar and especially enjoyed making fun of Takko and Arthur. He, by most standards, was just a nut case and in most circumstances, Arthur would have attempted to befriend him. Once he humiliated his captain, that opportunity flew out the window, even if Captain Alabastar managed to humiliate the saybaleye.

Tylor seemed to be talking aloud to himself now. It was as if he was either accepting or rejecting ideas of ways to insult his captain. When Arthur first met him, he was like this too.

Tylor turned back to Alabaster, "We were here first so that's final!"

Arthur wanted to retort with a: "Who cares?!", however it seemed his captain had something in mind.

"Oh? You were here first Grubas? And you put up a sign to show your superiority to all who arrived after you? I'm impressed, bravo I say, bra-vo!" They mankey captain clapped as he retorted with a tone dripping with sarcasm. His eyes narrowed. His eyes now shown with his cold and calculating personality and began to speak once more, "You mock my tail for being purple? Not only is that an incredibly stupid argument, but it also indicates that it would be okay for me to mock your big, crystal-eating mouth. Now, I wouldn't really do that as I, unlike you, have a sense of decency and respect towards others."

"Erm, Captain," Takko spoke up, his tail now touching the shoulder of the elder mankey, "the meeting."

"Oh right," Alabaster said, with a gentler tone, "the meeting, give me a minute with Grubas, and we'll be on our way."

"Captain!" Takko raised his voice in warning.

"Oh yeah, sorry ,sorry," Alabaster said. He then fixed his gaze at Tylor, his eyes were now serious as if there was something important going on, "You may think that this is a game Grubas, but it is not. I'm not here for any sort of price or recognition of my abilities; I'm here for the information. You may go first into the Council, I couldn't care less. But if you intend to halt me from getting to the meeting."

Alabaster's hand lit up in orange-red flames. He was angered, Arthur could tell. He would always flare up his Fire Punch at anybody who angered him, especially if that pokemon got in the way with his pursuit of information or knowledge.

"I will have to get violent. But remember, this is not a threat, it is a promise."

The flames quickly died. Tylor seemed angry as well. Alabaster's remark about this, Damon person, seemed to have hit a sore spot. One of his crew members seemed to be restraining the saybaleye as he told him that Captain Alabaster wasn't worth engaging a fight to.

"You know Alaby, you're right. I shouldn't have said that insult. It was childish and stupid. I know I can be impish at times, but that's just me. It's like how you are too smart sometimes. That's you. Anyway, I'll take my leave with my crew then," Tylor smiled.

Arthur's ears perked up, a lie. Years of telling stories and lies, to get out of cumbersome situations, trained his ears to detect lies, Tylor was a horrid liar.

"That's utter bull," Arthur mentally noted.

"Do you mean that?" Tylor's crew mate asked.

"Nope!" The saybaleye let out a wicked smile. He conjured a purple blob in his clawed hands and then turn around and threw it at Alabaster, "RUN!"

Arthur jumped into action and let himself get hit by the saybaleye's Shadow Ball. Sine Arthur was a Normal Type, the blow didn't affect him at all. When the blob made contact with his fur, the ball dispersed into sparkles. Arthur let out a growl. The stupid, insane, sayableye managed to anger him with is assault on his captain.

With the loudest roar he could muster, Arthur's fur began to crackle. Electricity crackled on his fur, fur that was standing on its end. With another roar, he was covered in yellow light and a bolt of electricity shot out of his body and aimed for the retreating back of the dark/ghost type.

Taz Jr. Nautilus Morrigan "The Madman of the Seas"
    Pirate HQ Island

Nautilus listened to the whole conversation of the captains with his arms crossed, without saying one single word. His red eyes were locked on the Mankey with the purple tail, having his usual ironic smile on his face.
He so wanted to get in a fight, and when he heard his captain lie, he got ready for it, as Tylor shot the Shadow Ball at Alabaster, which right then got intercepted by a Delcatty.

    "RUN!!"

Tylor shouted, Nautilus started running behind the captain at full speed, laughing his head off at the obvious fake out his captain had pulled off. But then he heard the sound of electricity behind them, and he glanced; the world turned upside down, he thought of something real quick. He was supposed to protect his captain, and now he was going to do just that.

    "Ah no ya wouldn't!"

The Croconaw stopped running, turned around, using Protect the instant the thunderbolt hit his arm; the shield was instanly broken from the blow, it it did block it, Nautilus grinning, patting his pirate hat with their crew's insignia then turned around, started running behind his crew once again.
The seaside path next to the sand of the beach didn't offer them much cover; he'd have to think of another way of protecting Tylor in this open battlefield if their "mates" decided to chase them.

"'ey cap'n, prepare yerself for some fun, these punks may chase us"

Tylor let out a crackle of laughter as Madman easily blocked the lightning from hitting him. "Way to go Madman!" Tylor cheered.

"'ey cap'n, prepare yerself for some fun, these punks may chase us" Tylor heard Madman say.

Tylor grinned with glee, "That's the fun Madman! Quick behind here!"

Tylor jumped behind a pile of rocks and pocked his head up, "Eat Toxic!" He shouted as he pulled his arm back and threw out a medium sized purple ball that exploded as it hit the ground and caused poisonous liquid to splatter all over the area.

Tylor then jumped onto the rock pile and bared his teeth in a intimidating smile, "Now, let's see how loyal your crew really is Alabaster!" He shouted as he formed a ball of red light in each hand and threw the two Confuse Rays straight at Alabaster's crewmates. Tylor couldn't resist shaking with laughter at just what would happen between the crew and ended up falling backwards onto the ground hard, though he was still laughing.

Damon looked down at him, "You know that was pretty stupid."

Tylor just lifted one hand with a thumbs up, "So... worth it!"

Thomas stood in front of the rock pile and used a Bulk Up as his whole body became more muscular. "Taz, Captain's given us an opening! I say we take it!" Thomas ran right at Arthur, "This is for trying to attack the Captain!" He shouted as he unleashed his Cross Chop right at the Delcatty.
