Usohachii's English name revealed

There's a post like this in some other forum, but this one seems more appropriately placed, so I'll say here that Bonsly really isn't what I was expecting it to be called...I was thinking of something along the lines of Sudosappo or Seedowoodo or Sudoseedo. And on top of it all, even though it's going to be in XD, that really doesn't do much for me. Pokemon that are exclusive to console games can't reach their full potential, unfortunately. Poor Bonsly is just being exploited to sell games ;-;

Wow! That's a really crappy name. Why did they change it?

Nintendo messes up on another name! xD

Bonsly? Whaaa!!! Jesus, sounds way to much like bonzai or botany! I like Usohachii a lot better! First Munchlax, now Bonsly.

Bonsly? Sounds nice but where does it come from?

Bonzai (the plant) and Sly (as in being sly)

Why does everyone hate the names? They're not that bad.

Bonsly, eh? That sounds kinda cute! ^o^ I wonder if the other new Pokemon have their English names yet. :33 Anyways, Bonsly sounds so adorable. ^^

Shinin- Pok?man fans just love to complain about NoA ^_~

Do you pronounce Bonsly 1) bonslee or 2) bon-sly

I prounouce it like #1. XD Now that I realize it could be number 2, I like it a lot better!

SEEDOWEEDO PWNED BONSLY!

When I first heard about it I jumped off a cliff

Its a horrible name ><

I pronounce it Bonslee. To pronounce it Bon-sly would be even more awkward than it already is.

If I ever buy XD I'm going to nickname it Seedoweedo ;_;

But if you pronounce it "BON-SLY" (with the Y as in fly) it makes more sense. Think about it; it's a pun. And you know those Pokemon namers love puns... even the American ones, lol. Look at it and tell me you don't see it:

Bonsai: A Japanese tree with stunted growth due to root and limb pruning
Sly: Tricky or shrewd.

A sly bonsai: Bonsly.

Get it? The pokemon is like a bonsai, but it's really not a grass type, so it's only pretending to be one. Hence the sly part. I think the whole thing was a little bit too vague, though. I didn't figure it out right away either, lol.
