Yes I know this should have been done in February, and now its May but due to a true "Series of Unfortunate events" XD, its done now.
Having a difficult time figuring out how to judge and have it work out in a logical way, Kelsey (Mori Seirei) and I, Lance (Kyosuke) XD, decided it was best if we judged them together, insted of the six judges that was mentioned before months ago. Just because it was difficult to have so many judges have a separate opinion on who should win, making it a much more tedious task ><
After reaching an agreement we finally chose the winners, if you didn't win you are all winners anyway XD. But seriously, all of your poems were great ^^.
Since both Kelsey and I did a review for each of the top three poems, you will see two reviews for each poem. With the first being my review, and the second being Kelsey's.
It was very tough to choose, but the three winners are:....
3rd place goes to...
3. Shadow of Ash - Always in my heart
A great poem of a break-up that turned into such great hate and jealousy. It starts off with love, but then turns into a bitter fight between the two, but insted of violence its with deep emotions that seem to be non-stop, hurting both the people in the relationship they once had. Nearing the end, eyes begin to open based on what's really going on, and its realized that it doesn't have to be that way.
You did a really good job with bringing real life examples, and implementing it with the poem, and the situation that's being dealt with at hand.

Shadow of Ash
Your poem showed great resilience amongst the other poems. ^__^ This poem showed heartbreak, revenge, vengeance, and serenity.
Your heart is torn in two, you feel so naive for ever falling in love. You curse yourself and feel helplessly hopeless. Revenge is what you seek, you just want someone else -- anyone else to feel the pain and carry the burden you now have to bear.
Yet you realize this and know it is wrong. So you hope to make things better...you hope...but it seems as though no matter how much you try, you fail. Love must be something you were not meant to feel...or so it seems.
Your poem was a bit different from the others because it showed revenge and heartbreak rather than just the plot of love. Awesome job Shadow. ^_~

2. Oni flygon - My Beloved
You made it so true to life of how relationships can come and go, and sometimes how they cannot work out in the end. Its starts off as an attraction to that person, trying to hide true feelings that the person might feel, then go into deeper emotions that are usually felt, dealing with jealously and love.
Even though this is most likely related to something you experienced, it goes farther then that to make a clear presumption of what all go through at some point or another. In relationships and during a break up, you try to move on but you just get yourself in denial of true feelings, and it tears you up inside.
Nicely done ^^.

This poem was wonderful, for your not just describing the regular form of love we all think of. The kind of love that one would imagine forms between a man and a woman who wish to share their lives together with each other. But your poem shows the love between two friends who cherish the seconds that pass each time they are near to each other.
I especially enjoyed this poem because you used such detail. In some small areas, even, you showed feelings and affection for the person this poem is dedicated to. The one line that captivated me most was ?I could feel your heart close to me, beating.? This shows how much you care for this person, for your hearts beat together as one.
And the 1st place winner is!...
1. LilyPichu - Simplicity
Why this is so nicely written ties in quite nicely with the title, its simple and the way its presented has the same subtle satisfaction that a longer, more in depth poem would hold. Throughout the whole poem you are "talking" to your pair, and explaining that even something as complicated as love can be explained in a simple manner. Excellent job of explaining something so in-depth, into such a simple and effective explanation.

Your poem was of utmost magnificence. While reading this wonderful piece of writing, it gave me a true feeling of both love and literature. It had a nice clear theme and I wasn't struggling to figure out what you meant. The fact that you wrote the poem actually to the reader was wonderful. =3 You wrote your poem with a wonderful beginning, middle, end, and showed great usages of flow, body, and overall writing composition. If I were deciding this contest alone, you would be the first prize winner. ^________^
Congratulations LilyPichu! ^^ *throws confetti* a job well done on that poem of yours!
You all really did a great job on each and every one of the poems you submitted, and who knows, with the way this contest went we might have monthly contests where you might win, (which won't end up being judged months later, we are really sorry for this inconveince).
Once again, great job to everyone who participated.... until the next one! ^^'
