Vaporeon , a Mermaid-Canine pokemon?!

Vaporeon looks like a Dog Mermaid , acts like one , and looks like a fish , well what do you think , does Vaporeon looks like a Mermaid-Canine pokemon?

Please none , i don't use word Merman since for me , there are no Veporeon males , all are females :) (P.S. i don't catch any male ones , i only catch female ones)

Ya, i'd go with that idea :3 it's more of a slim-line dog than cat -like a greyhound but with a short muzzle :3

Well, according to the biography on Vaporeon, people often mistake it for a mermaid because of it's flared fin-like tail. It does look somewhat like a dog, but really, who knows exactly what the eon group is. XD Well, I think Vaporeon is kind of a mermaid. ^.^ Or just a freaky mutated doggy with a fishy tail. :3

Vaporeon evoluted from Eevee (a fox) so it CAN'T be a cat (maybe look alike , like Pikachu , he look like a Hamster but he is a mouse , or Entei who looks like a lion and even shows its claws in movie 3)

Um... I would like to point out you could be wrong about that. Just look at Espeon, it evolves from Eevee but is certainly a cat... Of course I prefer to think of Vaporeon as a fox, though i have to admit it could be a cat if looked at in the right way.
I can see your point: It is more likely to be a fox, but you can't say it for certain.\, only the person who created it would know for sure...

Threads like this just end up going on forever, everyone refusing to accept the ideas of others, no one providing any solid evidence... I suggest we all reach a comprimise: Lets just call it a mermaide pokemon.

There's not much to say on this that hasn't already been said. I think Vaporeon is simply supposed to be a cross between a dog/cat and a fish. :o I mean, it's slim and slender more like a cat than a dog, but you have to take into consideration its habitat. It thrives in water and that would require a certain build of body... a dog's build likely wouldn't be ideal for that, so a slimmer, more agile body is better. Regardless, it gets this part from Eevee, its pre-evolution. Add on fins and a longer tail for enhanced movement underwater and you've got Vaporeon. o_O
