Very tiny problem. More of an annoyance. Help plz.

    I shredded an HTML link shortcut on my desktop. Not 'recycled' but shredded, using a program that deletes said data and fills it's place with random data, and then in turn deletes that to null data. The problem is the Icon is still there. When I try to hit the delete key on it or manually move it to the recycle bin, it says that the shortcut is not there at all. Anyone know how to get rid of it, because restoring it isn't an option, lol. As always, any help is appreciated and thanks in advance.
     
    Try going into C:\Documents and Settings\*User*\Desktop and seeing if you can delete the icon there, if you're using XP or 2000. With Vista try C:\Users\...
