Well, bascially in fottball terms, "it's 4th and long" for Micheal Vick. He can either "punt", which means accept the plea deal. Or "go for it", meaning taking his chances in court on November 26th. If he accepts the plea deal, he'll end up with a shorter sentence (maybe about 2 years, with more parts drawn up that increase his plea deal sentence), then if he takes his luck in court. What do you think he should do. And will he ever play football again ?

Yay! Somebody finally posted about this. Mike Vick is already guilty in most peoples' opinion. Yeah, it's usually not good when the feds are digging through your relative's back yard. Listen to the guy with the deep voice on Sportscenter. He says Mike Vick is guilty. I agree. He pulled the "listen to my Mom! She is suffering b/c of this!" act on the first day of hearings. Bad sign. BAD sign for Mike Vick. Roger Goodell (the commisioner of the NFL) won't let this guy play football again if he's as tough as everybody says he is (assuming Mike Vick is going for a plea deal). Mike Vick is a liar, a phoney, a dog fighter/murderer, and actually a pretty bad QB for all the "talent" he has. He lied about the dogs (ask the once co-defendants of Vick), he is a phoney QB, he can't hit a freakin' reciever, there is plenty of evidence against Vick for dogfighting, GUILTY!, and he really isn't as good as advertised. Vick may be innocent until proven guilty in out justice system, but it's vice versa in the court of public opinion. On that 4th and long thing you were talking about...Sacked!

That would be the worst mistake of his life. They keep getting more and more evidence. What'd this guy do? Kill wolves too? Dang...he's in pretty deep.

He wasn't even that great of a QB, he was just fast. D:

He should just serve his sentence (which will most likely be shortend, since he's famous >_>), and go on.

Uh, no. The will go pretty hard on him, even if he's famous, they'll treat him like every other person that steps into the courtroom, and then lay the hammer down

Unfortunately that's not usually the case. Mike Vick, as dawg 2005 said, wasn't a good QB, just really fast. They almost demoted him to RB last year...yeah, that's some talent they've got there...

EDIT: OMG! Mike Vick is pleading guilty! Just saw it on ESPNews!

Hell, look at the long list of celebrities who've gotten away with so much.

Vick had the whole weekend to decide how he was going to plea, the others had to decide on the spot. =/

Since he pled guilty, he's gone at least two years from the NFL. At least one year jailed, and the other, Commisioner Goodell, the new sheriff in town, will give him at least a one year suspension. He gave one guy a year suspension w/o even being convicted, so yeah. Vick is in major trouble.

And if he loses any of his QB skills (What little he has), they might put him as a reciever.

QB? No, he was pretending to be a QB. He was almost demoted to running back last year. He is SOOOOOO overrated. Reciever? Nah, my dog is off to Virginia to bite his hands off. Dictator (good thing in this case) Goodell will lay down the law! You meant Mike Vick would be the waterboy...no sorry, I meant the benchwarmer. GUILTY!

    Lulz.

Well, needless to say the the Falcons are screwed with their QBs. Schaub is a Texan now, and Harrington flat-out just isn't good. D:

To be honest, though, I wouldn't miss Vick in the NFL.

This man should really have no options whatsoever! I used to be a fan of his and once I heard about this atrocity I was deeply embarrassed for myself that I was once a fan.

Dogs are pretty much like a human, in words of breathing, eating, etc., so it should be a murder trial as well. But, we know such things cannot happen since an animal cannot represent itself in court.

As for him being allowed back in the NFL; No, I do not think he deserves to play such an American sport any longer. It would be a disgrace to the game to let someone like that back.

Agreed. 100%. Mike Vick is a fraud, even more so than Barry "Roidrage" Bonds. He should be booted out, not like he was any good. I have him on my madden 2005 team, and I'm totally ashamed now. What a bum, and he sucked at QB. Shaub is in Houston, and Joey Harrington...lol the falcons are screwed.

So, basically, Vick is out for 2 years, Harrington will stay for one year, they end up picking Petrino's Louisville QB Brian Brohm, and they move on. And when Vick comes back, it won't be HIS team, it will Brohm's (depending on how they finish and what pick they receive)

I don't think Michael Vick will ever play in the NFL again.
He'll get at least a year in prison. in the meantime Joey Harrington will lead the Falcons to a glorious 4-12 season.
And even if he doesn't get a LIFETIME ban from Roger, I still doubt the falcons will want him back. Who wants to shell out 13.7 million dollars a year to a guy who's been rotting in prison for a year or two? not me.
Roger is what the NFL needs: a tough commisioner
He's already issued the longest suspension EVER for an on the field incident
He's suspended a player for an entire year despite the fact that the entire Players Union was supporting the player (Pacman)
he doesn't care what people think of him, he's cleaning out the trash.
and yes, Vick is highly overrated. Never even thrown for 3,000 yards in a season...and I don't believe he's ever had a 20 TD season.
