so i've been thinking about getting a camera
something that has video recording, cuz thats what ima use it for, but i just want something simple, but good
    any suggestions?
also, what kind of camera do you use?
    pros & cons?

My camera model has since been discontinued, but mine is a Kodak C433 that I got in early 2007 for about $100. It's 4 megapixel and does have video recording capability. It's worked good for me except that the controls (for toggling the flash particularly) aren't the most convenient and sometimes pictures come out blurry even though they appear fine on the LCD screen. Also, you can't shut the LCD off so it eats batteries.

If you can find an equivalent digital camera (4 megapixel, video capture) it shouldn't cost too much more than the $100 one I got in 2007 and it should work well enough for recording simple videos.
