Man, it's been long. Well, at the constant bugging of DA, I've devided to make an RMT. It's kinda a team for fun, so don't take it too seriously, but adivice is nice.

    Forretress-Shed Shell
    Nature:Relaxed
    EV:252 ATK, 252 SP.DEF
    Pain Split
    Payback
    Stealth RockStealth Rock
    Rapid Spid

Well, I do enjoy a good Forry. And in this generation, a steel type is almost mandatory. So he fit the bill just well. He's to help me stop threats like Weavile, Outraging morons, and crap like that. Advice from DA spoke of this EV spread as standard. To humor him, I put it on. I do like this, he's pretty tough to take down with Pain Split, I'm glad he got it.

    Vileplume-Lefties
    Nature:Calm
    EV:
    Teeter Dance
    Aromatherapy
    Stun Spore
    Energy Ball/Giga Dran/Sludge Bomb/Epic Win

    Two Words. AAAAAAWWWWWWW YEEAAAAAHHHH.

I cannot tell you how many headaches this poke has cause. Not that tough getting him in (an overly defensive poke, or even a slower one), and when he's in, he's extremely annoying. No, Teeter Dance stays. I mean, it's just so much fun. Now I know that Confusion is not a status you want to rely on at all. But it's impossible to undermine it as useless. With Stun Spore and Teeter Dance combined, it makes this poke all the more annoying to face. Nuthin' like having a Salamence with 2 DD's OHKO itself.

    Torterra-Leftovers
    Nature:Impish
    EV:212 HP, 252 DEF, 44 SPE
    Wood Hammer
    Leech Seed
    Earthquake/Stealth Rock
    Protect/Stealth Rock

I really wanted to try out Torterra, and this set seems sound for the team. I had a Life Orb set, but that had no place with Swampert here at all. This should also cause some headaches. Thinking of squirming in some Stealth Rock to relieve Forry, I dunno. But switching into a Leech Seed isn't good for anyone. But me.

DA gave me the plan to use him as a SRer, so I will. So there.

[PokeCommunity.com] VILEPLUME AAAAAAAAAAAAA XOXOXO LAWL *^_^* (I love men, they are hot)

    Swampert-Choice Band
    Nature:Adamant
    EV:104 HP, 204 ATK, 100 DEF, 100 SPE
    Waterfall
    Ice Punch
    Hamer Arm[/S]Earthquake
    Stone Edge

Yes. Yes I do liekz u. I liekz u alot. He hits hard, covers much, and has the rare ability to look awesome doing it. He may as well be my main physical offense, taking out threats that are threatening to me. Yeah.

[PokeCommunity.com] VILEPLUME AAAAAAAAAAAAA XOXOXO LAWL *^_^* (I love men, they are hot)

    Nature:Modest
    EV:252 SP.ATK, 252 SPE, 6 HP
    Thunderbolt
    Shadow Ball
    Leaf Storm
    Trick

I forgot all about the Rotom forms, and was itching to give this a try. Now my grass type theme is complete! I know I got the EV's wrong, is there a way to make it slightly more bulkier? Halp!

My old choice in the spoiler.
    Spoiler:

    Houndoom-Life Orb
    Nature:
    EV:
    Overheat/Flamethrower/Fire Blast
    Sucka Pawnch
    Pursuit
    Hidden Power [Ground]

Yup, it's a Houndoom. Haven't seen this in a while. Like Flygon, he's also meant to take out certain threats. That A-hole Celebii has nuthin on him. Not that it's his only job, however. He takes out many other pokes, those high powered, somewhat frail psychics that seem so strong. I love Sucker Punch.

[PokeCommunity.com] VILEPLUME AAAAAAAAAAAAA XOXOXO LAWL *^_^* (I love men, they are hot)

    Captain Falcon
    Nature:Awesome
    EV:HP/ATK/DEF/SP.ATK/SP.DEF/SPE=MAX
    FALCON PUNCH
    FALCON KICK
    RISING PHOENIX
    FALCON PUNCH

This is my trump card. Scratch that. He is my main team. To hell with the rest. As soon as he's in play, I win. No if, and, or buts. Hell, just me posting his name fulls me with win. He implores your pitiful pokes to show him their moves, right before their untimely demise.

That's my team. It's focal strategy, I guess, is to promote switching all around. To that end I may give Forry Spikes. But it punishes bad switching, while requiring spot on movement on my part. It's fun.

Please, unless it's a dire threat, don't theorymon me to death. It's unattractive.

    CHANGES IN GREEN.

Scizor is a real pain to your team, nothing likes the SDer and Lucario isnt much better to you.

What i had an idea of doing is using SR on Torterra + Spikes on Forry and then a Scarf Rotom-H >> Flygon to block spin and beat the aformentioned pokes. Give it max hp though or it dies to tackle lol.

HP Fight >> Ground on doom, hits tar harder. =P

Can i ban you because my eyes are hurting from this abomanation ? Even abomasnow is blushing at how bad this is is, you should quit irl ! lolol ^___________~

Anyways use Outrage > Draco Meteor on Flygon, it does far more damage normally since your running Adamant.

I'd honestly consider EQ >> Hammer Arm on Swampert, it's a powerful, reliable STAB and lets you smash stuff like Metagross and also allows you to hit stuff like Empoleon and Tyranitar without resorting to lowering your Speed.

Wouldn't Celebi do Torterra's job better? It's got better HP, SpD and Speed.

    Celebi @ Leftovers
    Nature : Bold
    EV : 252 HP / 224 Def / 32 Spe
    - Substitute / Protect
    - Leech Seed
    - Recover / Hidden Power [Fire]
    - Psychic

You could also run Timid @ 252 HP / 80 SpAtk / 176 Spe for more Speed and power.

    Just a few nitpicks

Vileplume is a terrible Pokemon, Venusaur is a better Grass / Poison Pokemon ;)

Ah, I see the mods are still gigantic douchebags, glad some things didn't change during my absence.

First off, thanks for the rates. I took many threats into consideration when I made this team, but "forgot" about Scizor and SD Luke. It's just the majority of ALL battlers in the world tend to suck at Scizor & SD Luke, simply because they'd forfeit the minute they see Vileplume.

And Poke, I ocnsidered Celebii, but I don't use legends much. Not because I'm one of those "legends are OP" crap, but because these teams are also for wifi, and a pain to get, I don't really bother.

But I'm liking DA's idea. If I do use Rotom, it must be Mowtom since grass types pwn. I was also think EQ, Poke, but I thought since I had Flygon, it wasn't necessary. I'll change it back. Most importantly, I DID NOT MEAN ADAMANT. Woo boy, that was a dumb mistake on my part. I had forgot to update Flygon. I'm terrible at using Outrage, so I thought Draco Meteor was better (with an update to both Nature & EV, of course lol). But he may be replaced anywho.

    Mowtom=Win.
    Toastom=Fail.
    Fail=DA.
    Circle of life.

I was also thinking of using Jigglypuff in Captain Falcon's place. I dunno. Might be too much win in one team, especially since I have Plume.

Oh, and what should SR go over on Torterra? EQ or Protect?

Just pointing this out, but Rotom doesn't keep its form during Wifi battles and will always revert back to the original form (unless it's hacked).

*Can't really help out much because everything that I see has already been touched on*

Really! That's awful! I had no idea! Crap, then, this is for shoddy. I have no choice but to find another poke to use in Mowtom's place. I was so anxious to use it, too.

Well in Heart Gold/Soul Silver, there will be a way to use Rotom's formes now on Wifi. :D

    O YAY!

Good, seeing as this is a team with that game in mind.

From battling you and watching you battle other people i can tell you the few weaks i saw.

Empoleon, more specifically the sub + agility set <--- You cannot touch this guy and have to sacrifice something to break its sub. =[

Luke and Scizor still <--- Mower Rotom doesn't beat either sadly, you NEED the Heat Forme to actually be able to damage them or both will beat you 1 vs one. Keep the Trick Scarf set because its good to stop last poke sweeps and what not and act as insurance.

Sub Tran w/Toxic <-- It can cripple your team pretty badly. Being able to get free subs on Forry, Plume, Swampert locked into something stupid and Rotom.

Mixape weak <-- yeah you lose BADLY to it.

Lack of something to clean up sweep/ a central goal. This team is stall based so lets make it FULLY support this. Which means replace the dead weight and things that arent doing much here aka Houndoom, Torterra and CB Pert.

To solve these problems there is several things you could do, put a defensive water type with the Cro Set up (DD/<Stat up move>/rest/stalk)>> Torterra who is not doing much sadly and then make that Swampert defensive with SR and Roar to PHaze. This will give you a MUCH stronger defensive core and give you a much needed end game sweeper and status absorber(Aroma is pretty bad tbh, sleep talkers are MUCH more effective). They also beat ape, Heatran and Empoleon aswell as providing back up to Scizor which is pretty cool.

For this role im thinking, either DD RestTalk Outrage or Waterfall Kingdra, CroSuicune or DD Rest talk waterfall Gyarados. They all work and solve the aforementioned problems up there, ev spreads will be given upon request depending on which one you want.

Also adding a rest talker so would open up a slot on Plume to not use Aroma which means you get another attack move to make him less set up fodder. lol

Anyways all the water types love entry hazards so would fit in VERY nicely here and it allows them to sweep and thus give you an end goal crippling their main counters. Toxic Spikes would be awesome too, to support this team since they screw up any water types coming in to try to out stall your mono attack move on your cro pokes, which would be placed on Forry pretty easily >> Pain Split.

I would also advise putting on leech seed on plume to help support your team even further since this team is bulky and would love the healing, i dont like that teeter dance + stun spore set, its easy to negate and hasnt worked once from what ive seen. :/

That or get some Wish support and put it over Houndoom to remedy Forry losing pain Split, since you said you wanted some anyway lol. I would advise something with good s.def though, Latias or Blissey might be good to give you a good special wall to absorb all those nasty special hits. Blissey might be better though since relying on Forry alone to take draco's = ughh.

    TL;DR lol ^

So to sum up the changes

Forry w/T-Spikes/Spikes/RS/Payback <--This works well from personal experience
    Defensive SR/Roar/Ice Beam/EQ Swampert
    Scarf Rotom Heat with a bulky ev spread (252 hp / 64 sp.att / 192 speed @Timid).
    Cro <insert water type here>
    Leech Seed Plume
    Wish support (Latias or Bliss)

Another version because i know you like Snorlax is to put a wish Vappy in the water type slot above and use rest talk snorlax in that last slot >> Houndoom.

But yeah these "psuedo stall team" absolutely thrive in the current metagame and this looks like it has a lot of potential.

Its up to you though either way they solve most of your weaks but you should just test to see what works out the best, but yeah i hope this helps. ^^

You've just confused the frack out of me.

Well, from the jist of what I got, you're saying that this team has to get ALL defensive, or NOT at all? That makes sense.

Now, I do have a small bit of problems with your suggestions--this team is for wifi in mind. That said, a small bit of changes can't really be made. Just a small bit. For instance, I hear talk that even in HG/SS, I can't use Rotom. So is there any poke that'll offer me what he does for my team?

Also, I would rather have Plume be a seeder, but that is not the case anymore. Hence why he has Confuse Ray. And up yours, it has worked fine in my battles. Well, fine enough lol.

But yes, I will be implementing almost all of these changes. However, would you be able to suggest:

A replacement for Rotom, since I am unable to use it on wifi (at the moment), there is no reason for him to be here, since Nintendo are fruits.
The Defensive EV spread for both Forry & Swampert
A place to fit Captian Falcon in Torterra's place. I'd love that.

Also, if these changes don't work out for me, I would love help in making a more offensive team. Stall teams are boring, as is Anti. Not that it has any relation, but yeah, they both suck.

Well, from the jist of what I got, you're saying that this team has to get ALL defensive, or NOT at all? That makes sense.

What i said in a nutshell basically. Since your team WAS primarily stall based you might aswell go the full 9 yards. =p

I think there is an AR code for the Rotoms for wifi, which is technically still legal and so it wont revert to its original forme, so yeah. ^.^

You are absolutley right, and I don't like that in any way, shape or form. That's it, I can't believe I'm doing this, but...

I'mma need your help in totally revising team. I'd like it to be more...offensive. I'll get the dynamite.

Sorry if I'm wrong but I never thought Vileplum could learn Teeter Dance, only Spinda and Mime Jr./ Mr. Mime.

No, you're not wrong, at least, not yet. In Heart Gold/Soul Silver, Vileplume learns Teeter Dance, making him 80% moar effective. And seeing as how is was already uber, this sends his usage skyrocketing well above that of any other OU/Uber.

Oh sorry i didnt see that.

Sure ill help you make it more offensive. Ill try to think of something to help this mess :x lol

Hey, I don't blame you if you got attracted to the thread title. Now pull up your pants & get to work >:-(

    • Defensive SR Swampert lead

    • Rock Polish Torterra

    • Specs Vileplume

    • Rotom Heat or you lose to Luke and Scizor lol

    • Something not Houndoom to beat Infernape, basically a bulky water.

    • Something steel to switch in on Outrages and remove steels for Terra and Plume, Magnezone might work >> Forry.
This offensive enough man lover lol ?

Goal of team is to overwhelm grass resist and "sweep" with Torterra lol (Just kidding of course) XD

You see? This is what gets on my nerves. I MUST have a dang steel to beet Outrage. Or a cheap revenge killer. This makes me

    SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMSRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE.

But that's the general direction I'm going. More at 11.

I new to this discussion so I would just like to point out one of your pokemon is running Stealth Rock twice. I don't know if you want to run stealth rock on him, but he can only run it once. I'm not sure if this is a joke, no no I know it was a joke, because D_A hasn't permabanned sims for it yet. Well there I did my act of goodness today.

He had a / showing that it would replace the move next to it, so he put it twice to show it replaces either EQ or protect.
    The thread needs more men!
