    Since life began, debates over the powers of each dark and light. There are those who say light triumphs, and those who believe dark is stronger. There were at one time tournaments to decide which was stronger, but one year, they were cancelled. Two warriors, known only as Light and Dark, nearly wiped out all existance in their battle. They had tremendous power. Since then, people feared the destruction of their world and stopped the tournaments.
    Over one hundred years have passed since the last tournament and they are being started once more. Only a select few have been invited, and only those with unique powers were invited. The battles have changed though, and you are just assigned to light or dark. But something is strange. It seems as if the losers of the prelims just vanished, and without a trace, the losers do as well.

    POWERS-He controls the weather and basic dark magik
    Personality-He is very ruthless in battle, but outside, he is compassionate and quite shy.
    OTHER-He is skilled as an archer and wields a bow and arrow.

    Is this going to be a tournement RPG?

    NAME- Nic
    AGE- Meh. I'll figure out eventually.
    DESCRIPTION- Standard goggle guy with nondescript grey coat, cargo pants and shirt that conceals bulletproof armour (not like it's going to be much use, right?)
    POWERS- Very keen eyesight and reflexes. Constructs weapons by compacting air.
    Solidify- Generates transparent weapons ^^
    Storm guard- Air around him blows outwards and reflects any projectile attacks (now you know the reason for goggles ^^)
    Static guard- Air becomes a transparent wall blocking physical attacks (Note: Different from block)
    Fog guard- Water vapour in air condenses and blocks light based attacks (includes shadows)
    Sacred Burden- Increase in air pressure holds down opponents
    Perfection Crucifix- Air traps opponent; Nic hammers large nails into opponent.
    Personality- Always bored. Tries to enjoy his battles ^^
    OTHER- Creative in his usage of weapons. And, as you can tell, weak to psychic based attacks.

    DESCRIPTION- has long blonde wavy hair put up in a half pony, she has hazel eyes and wears a white shirt and geane pants
    POWERS- able to read ones mind, heal and some basic white powers
    Personality- stubborn, loyal, kind and thoughtful
    OTHER- is an elf XD
    Side- white

    AGE-15
    DESCRIPTION-Red hail,blue pant,blue eyes,red tunic
    POWERS-Dark magic,Can control elements such as fire,water,and electricity
    Personality-Very powerful,stubborn,a good friend,Absolute monster in battle.
    OTHER-He uses twin blades

    I'll use a fantasy race for this one, she seems perfect for it.

    NAME- Aiyana
    AGE- 124, appears 17
    DESCRIPTION- She has large, black, feathery wings, at her shoulder blades. Her long, white hair is never tied back, and covers her pointed ears, and some of her face. She has dark green eyes, and soft, white skin. She only wears a baggy black tunic, over her baggy black pants.
    POWERS- She has small magic; Create Water(five/a day), Heal Light Wounds(four/a day), Create Light Wounds(four/a day), Summon Undead(three/a day), Change Appearance(two/a day; can change back at will; only lasts four hours), Create Shadow(five/a day), to be continued, later.
    Personality- She is quiet, and can be friendly, but to those who don't know her, she may seem sad.
    OTHER- She is slightly mad. Every once-and-a-while, she'll begin twitching and will freak out on someone... Side effects of her darker magic(Her darker magic includes: Create Shadow, Change Appearance, Summon Undead, Create Light Wounds).

    We can start now. FIrst thing though, since I changed account, I can't edit my old posts. I just wanted to change my characters powers a bit....lolz

    OTHER-He is skilled as an archer and wields a bow and arrow. Also on his back, is his pack filled with all the basic tools for his alchemy.

    IC: The tournament had already begun, and based on my powers, I was assigned to the side of darkness. I had easily finished my preliminary battles, as most of my opponents did not fully grasp the concept of Alchemy. It was quite funny really, wathing them panic as I turned a piece of raw metal into a fine sword. It was hilarious.
    What I noticed though, was that after each of my matches, there was a bright blue flash emitted and then my opponent was gone.
    There is something more going on here than a simple tournament...I told myself.
     
    Aiyana had defeated her opponents in the first-most battles by using combinations of Create Shadow and Create Water, to confuse the fools, then drown them. Since it took a while for her Shadows to dissipate, she had wondered where her opponents were taken, since they weren't there when the Shadow finally dissapeared. It was a little startling, but Aiyana ignored it, for now.
     
    The tournements were boring. Too many people don't notice how effective air can be as a weapon. Penetrating armours through cracks, reshaping to fit the situation...
    Of course, Nic wondered where the gory bits of the opponent went after they imploded. But that was the management's job, wasn't it? To remove the bodies...
     
    Galadreil blasted a bright beam at her oppenent, it dodged, it shot out a shadowball, she blocked it easily and sent it back at him. It sent him in a state of flinching, she took the pause as an adventage and shot out another beam. He was sent flyingt against the wall. He stood up, almost ready to fall, but kept his balance, he sent out a final blow that missed Galadriel by a fimgers width. She sent her fist out with in human power and speed, and he disappeard. She stared blankly at the empty space, 'had he transported him self elsewhere?' she thought confused
     
    The first round of the tournament was over.
    The standings were clear and my first opponent was someone named Nic. I had seen Nic's fight, and I was quite impressed. Using hte wind as a weapon is impressive.
    I had been almost too excited, when I remembered the disappearances of losing fighters. Now I was more serious than ever...

    Galadriel didn't have time to reply, before she knew it she was face to face with a girl named Aiyana, "hello Aiyana" Galdriel said, "are you ready to battle?"

    Btw, it isn't wind, it's the atmosphere...XD. Big difference. Wind is just moving particles of air.
    I think, I'll lose this match? Then I get transported to somewhere and I try to get out?

    The next opponent appeared to be a Dark Alchemist.

    Moving to the field, Nic stood still in the center of the arena. He closed his eyes, and extended his hands to the sides.

    The changes in the current... he could feel it.

    The foe had arrived.

    He clenched his fist. Nothing appeared to change. But appearances were deceiving.

    AGE- 13
    DESCRIPTION- Crow's face is hidden Behind a Light green Thing... It Hides His face, and neck. The eyes are dark and have A deep red Swirled in them. The Back and sides of his Body are hidden by a cape, Light green in color. He wears a Necklace with three stone Rectangles. He Has Black Puffy legged pants With Red rings around the bottom. He has brown shoes.
    POWERS-Tornado- Creates a Swirling Wind
    Wind Break- Summons Much of His power and Breaks the foe's Weapon, or magic attack.
    Choke- Blows all the Air away from the foe and the lack of oxygen Chokes them
    Air dome- Blows a dome of air away, Knocking his foe back, And Proctects crow
    Personality- Crow Is Kind, and a bit silly, And always Plays around in battle. Hegets Serious sometimes and if hurt in battle, he Stops playing, and Gets serious
    OTHER- He is a human, But has Powerful Wind Magic. He is a Green Skull Mage. And Since He Can only Use wind magic, Direct hits could kill him.

    IC: He already seemed to have planned this fight out in his mind. I just hoped he was unaware of my abilities. He wouldn't be the only one anyways.
    I saw he was ready, and thanks to my Alchemist watch, I was able to perform basic Alchemy without a circle. I reached into my bag of supplies and pulled out some wood chips. Within a few seconds, sparks came and went, and I was equipped with a fighting staff.
    I readied myself for what I knew was to be a difficult battle, and awaited his first move.....
     
    OOC:Am I fighting Erk?

    IC:"I see that my fight will begin."He pulled out his sord,ready to fight.He stepped out onto the playing field."Where is my opponet?"He asked himself quietly.
     
    "Who is my next battle?" Crow asked, Jumping around His Unconcious Opponent. "Did I hurt you too bad Sir? I'm very VERY sorry!" He Cheered, Then was shocked to see The knocked out opponent was knocked out. "What!? Where did he go?!?" Crow was very confused, but shruged it off, and went to the board where the nezt battles were posted.
