Hello there Community :). I've been playing pokemon just like others for quite the while, but i'm not sure about what i know. I do know i am bit more obsessed than the average player, but i have never gotten to try out if do know more or less than i should.

As well as i am new to using forums, so i was wondering mainly where you get to talk with other players, somewhat more like just sharing knowledge and experience.

Currently I play mainly the gen 4 games but my favorite generation was the 2 one, i watch the anime because i personally think it's one of the few things that brings out the personalities of the pokemons.

I'd be happy to get some replies and also I'd love to talk to some of you. :D

Hey there and welcome to the forums! If this is your first time signing up in a forum, then don't worry! I believe you'll just be perfectly fine here and this is a great forum to start your forum experience by the way! I also play lots of Pokemon games, but I never really learned something. I just enjoy playing them, I'm not really into the whole battling scene soo..

If you want to meet members and discuss Pokemon with them you will need to go to the right place to discuss. If you want to discuss 4th Gen you should head to the Fourth Generation Games board wherein obviously you could discuss D/P/PL & HG/SS. There are lots of ongoing discussion there and you could also write your own journal and post it in the journal thread if you want. My favorite is also the Generation two, I'm a huge fan of it because of the gameplay that I had when I played it, brings back lots of great memories. I called it the Golden Era of Pokemon! The Metal/Color GBC Games will cover discussions just for these old games, isn't that amazing? At the same time you'd be able to meet lots of friends too. ^^;;

I've just watched recent anime episodes of B/W today, actually haven't been in touch with the whole anime but I've been following it ever since I watched the first episode, it's just that my tight and busy schedule wouldn't let me watch. But glad I managed today, and yes! The anime has it's own section here and it's the Pokemon Anime, if you ever want to discuss the anime then don't hesitate to head straight there. It's certainly an active board too and there are lots of members who are interested in the anime as well!

You might as well want to check out the other boards aside from those that I mentioned. PC is pretty huge and I'm sure you'd be able to find something interesting other than that! Take your time to explore. If you ever get confused though, the staff is around to assist you and give you a hand, so don't be afraid to bother them or perhaps contact them in the chat room! They'd surely help you out. <3

If you still haven't given the rules a read by the way, please do so now! PC is very strict to its rules and I'm sure you don't want to get banned right or get thrown away in your first forum experience? XD; I mean the rules is the only key for you in order to survive such places like this. So make sure to follow it as always.

Glad to see another die-hard Pokemon addict in these forums :D
I'm confused, though. What do you mean you don't know what you know? Well, in these forums, you'll definitely be learning more not just about Pokemon but about other things as well!

I agree with you about the anime 'bringing out the personality' of Pokemon, that's true. The anime really helps give you a deeper understanding about their behavior, habitat, etc. as well as the manga.

If you want to hang around with other players and trade/battle with them, I suggest heading to the Current Generation Pokemon Gaming forum, where you are sure to meet lots of new friends :)

I'm dragon456, by the way, so as my username says; but people around here prefer calling me dragon. It's a real pleasure to meet you, Toastedklick, and I hope you enjoy staying here in the community :)

Hey Dragon, I mean to say that I'm inexperienced with how to use the forums themselves but as you say I'll be learning, and i tend to very nerdy about pokemon but I've never really gotten to try out how much i actually know by meeting someone who knows even more :p

Have you played Black or White yet? They are great games.

Don't hesitate to make friends, read the rules so you don't get into trouble.

Also, if you have questions contact a moderator (the guys with bold, blue text) - they are there to help you.

We also talk about entertainment (Culture & Media section), fan fiction, roleplay, challenges for your Pokemon games, competitive battling center (to discuss upcoming tournaments as well as get your teams rated), Japanese entertainment discussion and some trivia and chat as well.

Well indirectly, i bought one intended for my brother but ended up in my ownership but he's the one playing it, but the parts ive seen seems rather nice and well even though i find some of the too plain, there are still pokemon i like too. It seems to have an interesting story i'd like to play whenever i could, but first i most likely need to buy one more of those games in order to find out more, but as i believe there will be an expansion i'll wait till the before i can find out for real, thanks for time :D
