4th Gen was there any more special things that come from tweaking?

    I remember being one of the few that did it on GameFAQs when everyone first found it, but I left after about the third or fourth topic because there didn't seem to be any hope in it.

    were any methods found of catching Darkrai/Shaymin using it?
     
    You mean the Tweaking glitch?
    There should be some videos on youtube demonstrating what it is and how it is done, but no, I don't think anyone found a way to use it to access those Pokémon.
     
    I didn't think so either. I just remember seeing a post early in the "Is My Pokemon legit or not?" topic and it said something about using the Tweaking Glitch to catch Arceus, which is really impossible >_> in the newer games, there are actually different levels. bottom ground level 1, stair case leads to level 2, etc.

    Arceus is really high up, and is part of the Mountain...so theres no way that would be correct.
     
    I thought i'd heard of all the glitches going 0_0

    well, I sold my diamond copy long ago, but I'll try to explain it as best I can.

    basically, you get the fast bike(there were two in D/P weren't there?) and you quickly move your thumb between the right and left D-Pad parts, making you move to the sides really quick, occasionally pressing up. go to a spot in the map about every 10 tiles or so that the game ever so slightly skips. it's noticeable, but not a lot.

    now, if you do this correctly, sometimes the games will freeze, sometimes your side of the tiles will freeze, NPC's will stop, etc.

    I saw a video on Youtube that had a tweaking glitch for Darkrai but i forgot the link...but all i can remember is this dark cave or something.
     
    I already have an AR and theres no Toys R Us around here >_>
    but I sold my copy of Diamond for Geometry Wars anyway lol. I'm gonna "aquire" a new version once my CycloDS comes in.

    I was just wondering if tweaking still existed, and if it was going to lead to anything new.
     
    Thing is, getting AR is plain cheating. If you use this... tweaking glitch thing... its using a glitch to your advantage. Not quite hacking? lol
     
    It is laughable that you can think of cheating as being on different levels, but I undestand what you mean.

    All the same a cheat is a cheat, and getting around the code of the game to get at something which they intended to be inaccessible (at present) is a form of cheating. Even so, I have heard of no one who got this trick to work in any way other than wrecking their cart.
