Croc wins for sure. There's absolutely no reason why the leech is going to stand a chance, considering statistically the croc has a bigger fanbase.

exactly. The leech's side effect is too much, whereas the croc has almost no side effect.

ppl tend to be afraid of removal. I mean, a terror can potentially be a barter in blood en-instant with the croc.

It goes like this:
You have a croc and another non-black/artifact creature.
You play another creature.
I respond by terroring your non-croc.
Croc's ability triggers as soon as the stack clears.
other creature hits the board.
croc dies.

It's just that...that's all.
