Weekly Video Game Franchise DEATH BATTLE! [Capcom]

Welcome one and all to the first week of Franchise DEATH BATTLES where we are going to show what video game franchise PC likes the most! This will take a couple of weeks/months to complete, and thus, you will get to choose between much video game franchises to see your favourites! Now, if you'd like to see what this is all about, feel free to read the rules below:

Spoiler:

- Every week, there will be a poll attached, with different video games. Each thread will have different video games from different franchises and from different companies like Nintendo, Sega, Capcom, and so on.
- You are not restricted to one vote - you can vote as many video game favourites as you like!
- In the event of a tie at the end of the week, I, Aura Blackquill will have the tie-breaking vote, just to have a clear winner!
- Frequent voters will receive an emblem featuring the winning video game at the end!
- Feel free to explain who you voted for, and why on this thread!
- Any questions? Feel free to ask me in VMs or PMs!

So, as said, this week will focus on the capcom franchises, so choose your favourite capcom series of games, and the winner will be posted on Wednesday, April 22nd! If there is ANY Capcom series of games that I've missed that you wanted to vote for, and you really feel that should be on here, please let me know before you vote! Thanks, and enjoy!

I was wondering whether to vote for RE, DMC or SF but... since Okami is a possible choice, I can't not vote for it.

Megaman, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, and D&D

Well, I had to vote Megaman because by itself it is pretty good, but Tron Bonne fits into that. And since Tron Bonne is one of my top 5 most favorite games, it's just kinda obvious.

I also voted for DMC. Though I've never actually beaten one of them (I just suck apparently) they are pretty great and the walkthroughs that I've watched were pretty good too.

Resident Evil is a given. And then Dungeons and Dragons because I'm just a nerd and have to play everything D&D related.

When it comes to the games in that list, the only series that I have played are Marvel vs. Capcom and Dungeons and Dragons. So those two series will be the ones I will vote for.

Those were the only I played so I went with them.

Out of all those on the poll choices, I've only extensively played DMC.

Devil May Cry is one of my favourite game franchises, thanks to it's PURE focus on sublime, impossibly deep gameplay that I know I will never master but it's still so so so fun to play. Add that to the intentionally cheesy, over the top dialogue, characters, cutscenes and moves and there really is never a dull moment. Hell, DMC4 had a pretty badly designed latter half with Dante but it was still a goddamn blast. Great games. Capcom at their best imo.
