Weird n' wacky teachers!

I'm sure that at some point in our education, we have been taught by teachers and/or professors that were weird, funny, or just plain strange.

That said, do you have a weird teacher this year, or want to share with us about weird teachers you've had? I await your stories.

last year in 7th grade, my teacher wouldnt let me have a binder just because it had the word 'AMBER' on it. Her excuse was-'Your name is Teresa, not Amber.'

I got some stories
My art teacher in my freshman year was kind of a hippie *nuff said*
My math teacher used to molest stuffed animals during class that I brought in. He'd stuff em in his shirt or what he did with my Psyduck plushie:
Sensei: Hey lookie! It's a duck-billed platypus!
Me: No! It's not a platypus, it's a Pokemon called Psyduck
Sensei: Hmph! Duck-billed platypus!!
Me: Nononononononono! PSYDUCK!
XDDD The conversation still haunts me
And I used to have this really stern social studies teacher for my entire middle school life and right in the middle of class, he'd turn on anything from classical to Britney Spears and dance through the aisles like a jerk.
That was his dark side.

I've...never really had any. Although my art teacher this year is uber weird. She has Napolean Dynamite crap all over her desk and she's just plain weird. o_O

...I wonder what's with art teachers and being odd...since my high school art teacher was a bit...eccentric, to say the least. O.o

Just the way his hair looked (poofy), and the way he talked at times...his way of saying things when he explained to the class what not to do on assignments...he was funny. ^_^;; It's sorta hard to explain, but...yeah.

I had a teacher last year ._. he was my English teacher.. and he was so weird..
he was like "I've decided that your name will be Hena from now on!" to me .__... and.. it's nowhere near my real name..

@@ and he used to jump on the desks and yell out things.. ._. and.. he was always like "BAGELS! I WANTS SOME BAGELS!"
._. and just.. really scary overall..
he told us that moose were gods ._.
@@ and he used to run around in the hallways asking random people about george bush..

I've never had any teacher like that but i remember that my sister did. once in 7th grade, her teacher wanted to reward those with good grades so instead of giving them something like a pencil, she handed out women's shaving cream!! to everyone, including the guys!

We used to have a French teacher at our old school who sang opera during the classes. He was the school eccentric XD He had really funny mood swings; he was fine one minute and snapped out the next (but because he snapped out in such a funny way, everyone thought it was hilarious!)

Hmph. Tch, 'twas in primary school, when my drawing class teacher kept bringin' her lipstik, powder, mirror an' stuff in class an' put on her makeup durin' class. Tch, she also liked ta eat bananas while we worked... must've had a potasium deficiency or sumthin'... or a brain deficiency. XD

One of my Teachers scarred me for life, she hit one of my friends who has downs syndrome and he cried alot, she was so mean..I hate her -wacks her-

I had one who couldn't actually teach properly...he was funny though, he just shouted at the class an nobody actually listened to him.

1- A teacher in 4th grade actually hit students, but not like fist fighting, like a friendly punch to the arm...and she hit HARD....
2-art teacher in 12th grade. He was wacky. Loved jazz and would always dance like an idiot...
3-8th grade led me to see not 1, not 2, but 4 teachers all insane. one day, we were given the chance to whip wads of paper to the next door class...a classic...

I havent had a lot of crazy teachers, but I'm sure I will in high~school. :o

Mr. Perry //~He was a great teacher, dont get me wrong. The best~est ever! X3;; He was from Wales, and he had this really funny accent and he did different voices in front of the whole class. >:D Instead of doing math, he sometimes brought in his Mr. Bean video~tapes and let us watch them, or for math he used to take us into the staff room and make us french fries. XP He was crazy~!

Ms. McMurren //~Probably one of teh mean~est teachers I have ever had. X__x; She was always making quilts and stuff, and sometimes if people were being bad she walked up to them and poked them with a needle. She did it to me once for no reason~! :o

Mr. Gordon //~He was mean, and weird. He wore the same shirt to school everyday, set with a tie and pitch black dress pants in the summer. >:x He gave me two detentions once for answering ONE question wrong. [*whacks him over teh head*] My parents hated his guts after that, mainly because he knew I had problems in math, and he gave me a 2 detentions just because I got an answer wrong. :X

Well... my English teacher was funny. xD; He told us impossible but totally convincing stories, and will spend the whole class peroid having a good debate.

And... that's all. My French teacher was mean though. ;-;

My Air Force Military Teacher was not that weird.. All he did was yell out loud "you little sh!t maggots are useless! I wanna see you pump them legs, or I'll stick my foot up all your a$$es!" lol, he was so funny especially when he cursed at students for sleeping during class. <3

My French teacher in eighth grade was a great Environmentalist, hated the RAV line, and was full of laughs, but at the same time knew so much French it wasn't funny (it helped that he was born in Brittany and grew up in Montreal).

I had none up to this point, i hope i dont meet a REAL vrazy one.

I had the coolest teacher this past year. His name was Mr. Lopez, and he taught Science most of the time. He was always telling us jokes, but not like dumbed down ones. They would be the ones he'd expect you to be smart enough to get. He would never give hard work, and even the easy work he gave was always assigned at least a week before the due date. He never really gave a lesson, he always just told us to read it for ourselves. He would give us the basics and all, but he'd expect us to do the actual work.
Around half way through the year, he let us start watching tv in class, and doing whatever we wanted, leaving the work an option. Course, almost no one ever did anything so yeah.

Oddly enough, I failed that class and took it over the summer. I did manage to pass then. I blame the failure on the smell of burned hair.....there were girls in there straightening it....creepy. Anyways.....
I'll finish this post with the best thing he taught me, it was his only rule:
"Conduct yourself in a manner appropriate to the situation"

My art teacher said all art teachers are vague, never turn up to class, and are insane o_O; XD you people have weird teachers~
