With this generation coming to a close, are there any games that are still on your wish list?
Yeah, I wrote that just so I would have something besides a list. Lol, so ignore what it says, you can talk about current consoles, portables, and the next generation if you so please.
My list:
1. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (GCN)
- It's Zelda, and it's me. Do you need to ask? It just looks so beautiful, and Nakano's art really shines through. There's so much that I've heard about it, it's just going to be huge (in the way we like, TWW was bigger than OoT but in a stupid way). It may very well become my second favourite game (next to OoT), or even claim the first spot.
2. Animal Crossing DS (DS)
- A perfect example of the DS's Wi-Fi capabilities. And...you don't have to play online worldwide, you can just use your buddy list. How cool would that be living in a village full of your friends? (^^ *is looking forward to that*). And I'm a huge fan of the GCN version, so of course I'm looking forward to this.
3. NEW Super Mario Bros. (DS)
- Mario side scrolling is back! Woohoo. And that's all I need to hear. Oh, please live up to my expectations.
4. Metroid Prime Hunters (DS)
- Played the Demo and fell in love. I crave more. I like aiming using the wriststrap (not the stylus, most of the people who complained have done it with the stylus. The wriststrap is superior, especially in Super Mario 64 DS...well not for the mini-games), it felt so natural.
5. Metroid Prime 3 (Revolution)
- I love the Metrodi Prime series. The graphics have always been superb and the finale is going to be on the system where Iwata has said we'll say "wow" at the graphics. That's all I can really talk about, we don't know anything else. But, it's Metroid Prime on the Revolution and it's supposed to make full use of the secret controller.
6. Mario Kart DS (DS)
- I loved that Super Circuit has the original courses in it. When I heard that this would have courses from all the games (I'm expecting every course, but I know that's over doing it), I was in heaven. And...it's Wi-Fi. *drools*
7. Polarium 2 (GBA)
- I love Polarium very much. Only a hand full of the puzzels actually gave me some trouble, but all in all it was very enjoyable. The GBA sequal has more puzzels (yay!) and it's in colour (omgnotblandandboringyay!). I'm curious how it would work on the GBA, since there is no touch screen or stylus? Maybe hold down the A button as you move the cursor around or something.
8. Ultimate Spider-Man (GCN)
- Activision has down great things for the Spider-Man franchise. And they're going back to the comics (albeit, the "Ultimate" series, but still good). And you play as Venom w00t! The celshaded graphics really make feel like you're living a comic.
9. Sonic Rush (DS)
- Yeah...if you saw my thread you know I'm not overly impressed. But it's supposed to be the best one since Sonic 2, and that is saying a lot. And...I should judge by screenshots anyway. It's a side scrolling Sonic game, dammit. That means speed, and a frozen screen shot can not do it justice.
10. Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix (GCN)
- I've always wanted to play DDR, and now I'll have a chance. I don't care that it's all Mario music, I only listen to video game music anyway. And, I can exercise and have fun.
I've yet to pick up Meteos, but I will eventually. I swear it! Maybe I'll save it for Christmas or something. And I'm debating Nintendogs.
