What Do We Expect From Kingdom Hearts 3?

    I don't know about anyone else, but I'm super hyped for KH3. After playing DDD, I really wanna know how the story ends.

    I have two major things I wanna see in the game, gameplay-wise, though:

    1) Obviously, the ability to play as other characters. Roxas and Riku in 358/2 Days and DDD respectively are really fun to play as, even if they are a bit broken. Being able to play as all 7 Guardians of Light, and maybe a couple of the 13 Seekers of Darkness, would be great. It would be even better if each character had a unique play style, like in Birth By Sleep.

    2) Characters and worlds from other Square Enix games. The FF and TWEWY characters are great, but it'd be even better if other Enix franchises made an appearance, like Valkyrie Profile and Heroes of Ruin.
    As far as Valkyrie Profile goes, imagine how cool it'd be if you could visit Valhalla in Kingdom Hearts 3! You could have Alicia or Rufus as a follower, and the boss could be Silmeria, who is corrupted by Xehanort. Also, other characters like Dylan or Lezard could appear.
    As for Heroes of Ruin, you could visit Nexus and the other dungeon areas like Elder Forest, The Frozen Wastes, The Soul Void, etc. You could have Fironel as a follower and corrupted Ruinlords as bosses.

    Do you agree, or have ideas of your own! Tell me!
     
    In addition to the ones you mentioned, there's some specific worlds that I'd love to see in KH3: Frozen (which is the on people are asking for most so I'm sure it will make an appearance) and Atlantis are the ones I'd like to see most. Imagine how amazing Atlantis would look with PS4/Xbox One graphics ^^

    Also, I'd like to see Kairi finally do some fighting with her keyblade. Having her as a playable character would be really cool.

    Oh yeah, definitely! If we are able to play as all 7 Guardians of Light, seeing Kairi actually fight would be nice.
    I'm guessing these characters will be playable:
    - Sora
    - Riku
    - Kairi
    - Lea
    - Aqua
    - Ven
    - Mickey
    I think Terra might be a bad guy in this one

    I think that's definitely a possibility, but you never know with Kingdom Hearts haha.

    Also, I hope Roxas gets to make his return. He's one of my favorite characters in the series, and it'd be a shame if we didn't get to play as him at least a little bit at some point in the game.
     
    I'm really just hoping to see some new Disney places that we haven't gotten to go to before, especially some of the more forgotten Disney films (Atlantis) or the odd balls that we forget are even Disney (Star Wars, Marvel). I don't really have any expectations storywise though, haha. I just really wanna go to Atlantis. :( Places from other Square games would be nice too, like from Chrono Trigger.
     
    Frozen, Star Wars and Marvel/Avengers seem really obvious to me.
     
    With the passing of Lenord Nimroy, I'm wondering who will be voicing Old Xehanort. As far as worlds are concerned, I like to these IPs to appear:


    - The Princess & the Frog
    - Haunted Mansion (or Phantom Manor, since it's more story-oriented than the original Disney ride)
    - Dumbo
    - Robin Hood
    - Frozen
    - Fantasia 2000
    - Wreck-It Ralph
    - The Avengers
     
    A Wreck-It-Ralph world would be fun as hell. I haven't even seen that movie, but judging by visuals and the premise alone, that would be awesome.
     
    All Star Wars stuff should be saved for the Next wave of KH games - Although any boss battle with Vader would be awesome no matter what.

    The Wreck-It Ralph Hub-World could be the next Traverse Town - it can't be the first world in EVERY game, right?
    Ralph, Frozen and Star War feel like a solid line-up for the Next Gen KH games.

    Nope, because he didn't appear in an arcade game yet (Both Bowser, Sonic, and Eggman barely count since there exists an arcade version of SMB and there exists Sonic the Fighter). Of course, I'm expecting "leaning the 4th wall" jokes regarding Sora being in a video game.

    The hub world is usually a world that's specific to Kingdom Hearts though (Traverse Town in KH, Radiant Garden in KH2, Land of Departure in BBS). I feel like the hub world for KH3 is going to be land of departure again, but it'd be cool if they surprised us and made it an entirely new KH-only world.

    Also, what would you guys like to see/what are you expecting story-wise in KH3?

    Yea, I'm interested in seeing the final showdown between them too, which seems inevitable at this point. More than anything though, I'm interested in seeing where their relationship actually ends up. Do they become friends again, or will they stay enemies and one finishes the other off? Revealing that they were childhood friends was an interesting twist and I'm really interested to see where it goes.
