I love the show, the main protagonists have excellent character development, and the story is so entertaining that I've always got to find out what's happening next.
Main characters Liko, Roy and later Dot are all good in their own way. Liko through how she breaks out of her Shell and is linked to the main mistery if the show and character Lucius, Dot is a character many influecers can relate to and not only through the fact she's an inclueder. Roy Is something like new version of Ash honestly so he honestly brings the old vibe of the pokemon into the new series and I Hope we'll learn more about him.

I'm really enjoying the new line up. There's a lot of depth to the characters now beyond just "I want to be the best" which is lovely to see

I really like them! Ash is iconic, but he had his time in the sun and the new protags are a very welcome breath of fresh air. Liko feels a lot more realistic to how an actual 9-12yo would react in her situation (ie: timid but excited to be on an adventure) while Roy is basically a less obnoxious version of Ash with more character development over 20 episodes then Ash gets over multiple seasons.

It has taken me a long time to get into Pokemon Horizons. I think it took like 10 episodes, so almost the entire first part before I began to really enjoy it. I have to say, I like them a lot. It also shows just how incredibly strong Ash in compared to your average pokemon trainer. Yeah Ash himself has had ups and downs, but after seeing a series with completely new trainers, away from gym leader traveling companions and what not.... you can see why Ash in the World Champion.
Right now I am liking Roy more, but I think it is because he is more so the new Ash when it comes to the way he acts atm, but I also like Liko. Dot just told Liko the truth about somethings, so we will see how Dot's character changes from there.
