What does the venusaur flower near the pokemon's weight denote?

I havent looked at a lot of old cards. what does the venasaur flower near the pokemon's weight denote?
This isn't really the thread for that, as it was raised specifically by John to question a print error on his card. However, if you post a photo we can try to figure it out. There's 26 different Venusaur cards so we'll need you to narrow it down.

Moved your question to its own thread.

On Classic-Neo cards, the symbol to the right of the Pokémon's stats (height, weight, etc.) denotes the set/expansion. "Venusaur's flower" (actually Vileplume's) represents the Jungle expansion. e-Card-onward have the expansion symbol at the bottom, near the rarity.
