2nd Gen What is the purpose of the Unknown Pokedex

    All it does is help you keep track of all the Unown you've caught. :P
     
    Basically what JK siad,it just lets you know what letter Unown you have,so you don't catch the same one again hopefully.
     
    Yeah, that's about it. The only thing after you get all of the Unkiwns is the machine in the lab next door will be fixed, and you can print pictures of them.
     
    yeah it dosent do anything apart from tell u the unowns.which kinda sux.
     
    i though there were 26, one for each letter of the aplhabet
     
    Yeah, and in FR/LG (Or was it R/S?) they added the ! and ? Unown.
     
    i heard of a cheat where if you put the unkowns M E W in your party and you swam in the lake of rage you coulf fight a mew, and if you had C E L E B I in your party and u went to the shrine in illex forest u could fight cerebi is this true?
     
    I don't think so.That's sort of hard to do I can only use surf to swim and I don't think that the second thing you said is true either.

    Final word: No arrangement of Unowns give you a Pokemon, sorry to say (so the whole CELEBI thing is just a rumour). And the Unown Pokedex is just for keeping track of the types of Unown you've caught - and that's it.
