I say Vista but is your worst?

    Vista...

Finally, we can agree on something xD

I'd have to say a tie between Windows ME (Mistake Edition) and Vista. (I say Vista only because unless you buy Ultimate, all you're getting is a crippled OS that's missing features)

CEMENT isn't CEMENT without ME. lol Vista could every well be CEMENT.

    Windows XP

I hate it so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so....Very much
I think Vista is great if you have the right type of PC with specs that can run it.

As a proud Mac user, I could just say that every Windows OS is inferior. But I won't.

Windows 98. No matter how advanced it was for its time, no one should ever have to reboot that much.

WHAT???? XP? What are you talking about?

Zana, what are you smoking? I really don't understand how you can. XP is one of the most robust OS's EVER. Yes, its a Ram pig, but in many cases its very stable.

Windows 98. No matter how advanced it was for its time, no one should ever have to reboot that much.

And I have to respectfully disagree here, 98 was a warhorse in its day. Spyware really screwed with it though when it started hitting, and thats for me what really killed it.

Overall, I didn't have ME, so I can't say it was the worst. RIGHT NOW, Vista is just terrible. So many things wrong with it...so many.

    WINDOWS ME HANDS DOWN SELFHJSKFSTUEIWOGSHKJLDBKJDS.

I've used Windows 3.1, 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, and Vista...and dabbled sliiiightly with Mac OS (ie: played with Macs at the Apple Store and electronics stores) but ME really takes the cake. I BSoD'd at least 5 times a day, it ran like a dinosaur, and it was just... so frustrating. When we switched to 2000 (about 3 years after XP came out XD), it was like a godsend. It was so stable in comparison!

It's just... ugh. I'm sure anyone who had to use it on a main computer will agree with me on how downright awful it was. :(

Windows ME was just... amgdz. :x
I didn't like Windows 95 either, but that's just 'cause I couldn't get the stupid thing to work well when I had it. >_>

DOS. No questions asked. An operating system without a UI where you bought a mouse that didn't really come into use.

And, DOS-based OSes. Windows 1.0 to ME, I'm looking at them as hate because command line issues intercepting the entire GUI are just ugly problems.

Are you saying that because it's the first OS Bill Gates had. True it's awful in todays standers but it must have been amazing because it was the big band Windows needed. Plus Window couldn't afford to be the jerk back then like it is now.

DOS wasn't as bad as Hiroshi put it...It was worse :P

Even in those days, it was fairly...morbid?

Windows ME, definately. I don't understand why people dislike Vista so much. Sure, it's a memory hog, but it really isn't so bad. It's a big change from XP, but once you get used to it, it's fine.

The Glitches, the incompatibility with some widely used programs, ect.

    :P

Incompatibility isn't Windows fault; software developers just haven't fully moved onto making products for Vista. Software has been cross compatible with Windows for years (for the most part, ever since Windows 98), so it's understandable that Microsoft had to change things eventually.

And as for glitches, name some major ones.

I will agree that vista is junk and it's full of errors and glitches but I can't agree with a much of teenagers about Dos being awful. We weren't even born and Dos had to be great because it was competing against Mac which was so much more power and Window was just starting. If it was awful Window would have never made it pass their first year yet alone compete with Mac. Dos made Bill Gates rich and he bought it for a ton and I mean a ton of money and Bill Gates just starting wouldn't pay that much for junk. Why did IBM want it if it is so awful?
