If by some crazy miracle you have not heard of the amazingly unique band that is Art Zoyd, then you are missing out. They're definitely underrated, along with most of the 'Rock in Opposition' bands. But I'm sure everybody has heard of RIO.

My favourite is definitely Metropolis, it's insanely weird and suits the atmosphere of the film well. Although Le Mariage Du Ciel Et De L'Enfer is also an excellent album.

I liked Le champ des larmes. The title track was completely amazing. o___o

It sucks that they aren't more popular. D:

A little drier and more intense than most of their work, I had to listen to it multiple times. The intro song is magnificent.
Ah, this is also one of my favourites. I instantly liked it though. xD
The title track is pretty good, I enjoy the 2nd track 'Cryogenese - Rêve Artificiel' a lot more though; 18 minutes of awesomeness right there.

Their longest songs are usually the best, but my personal fave is Trois Miniatures, kind of blew me away with the intricacy.

From the Génération Sans Futur album, another one of their best; all of the tracks on that album were great, but my personal favourite is Divertissement. I liked how it was far more erratic compared to the other tracks, switching from a slow tempo to a much faster one with a harsher sound within a short period of time. Trois Miniature is great, but a bit too relaxed for my taste.
