What kind of genre of movie do you like?

    Basically, Movie Genre's are Comedy, Horror, Suspense, Adventure, and etc.

    So the question is, what kind of genre of movie do you like? or in other words your favorite genre. :)

    My favorite is Comedy, Horror and Suspense. :D
     
    Comedy, action, and advernture for me,
    Like Tropic Thunder =3
    That's my type of movie ^^
     
    I don't like Adventure that much, but some movies that are adventurous are pretty interesting. :3
     
    Epics like Once Upon A Time In America, Gangs of New York, Fantasia and The Godfather Part I & II.

    Comedies like Bolt, Firehouse Dog, When Harry Met Sally..., Oliver & Company, Home Alone 1 & 2 and Happy Feet.
     
    Science Fiction, mostly. I also like Pixar animated films (and some Dreamworks, like Madagascar) and most eighties movies like The Breakfast Club.

    I can't stand Romance or Sitcom, though.
     
    Dark comedy for its tendency to present more tragic situations in a brighter light; dark comedies always make for interesting films, with a realism that's philosophical and often times satirical. (If you catch my drift, wording that was a mess. >_>) Otherwise, I enjoy gangster films; some of my favorite films are classified as drama but I feel like I'd have to narrow that down because I'm very picky about dramas; horror movies that are so stupid they end up passing as comedies; anything disturbingly/thought-provokingly surreal, but that depends on my mood; science-fiction, definitely.

    Really, when it comes down to it, I just like a good movie.
     
    I'm truly a fan of all genres, but a few favorites would be Drama, Comedy, Westerns, and Documentaries.

    I'm also a sucker for any movie involving kings and queens which usually resides under dramas. Also while Independent movies aren't really a genre I prefer to watch them over movies backed by major film studios.
     
    It depends on the movie really, but genres I'm fond of are mainly comedy and well-done suspense. I'm very, very, VERY picky on what I like, but it really ranges across genres.
     
    I like mysteries and thrillers, heists, buddy cop movies, basically anything involving plots and people chasing one another around. Science fiction, particularly if it's dark (Brazil, Dark City), but not if it's just a war movie in space. Comedies, if they aren't just comedies, like a comedy/murder-mysteries (Clue) and comedy/superhero (Mystery Men).
