Thank you and I have a question will it mess up my game if I do the cheat?
No. I had no problems with it on Red. Just be sure not to walk right in front of the kid with Slowpoke-- let him come to you. That will mess up your game if you do it wrong.
Also, when walking in front of the Gambler, it is wise to save before doing so--I had to retry quite a few times.
