    My friends (Most of them) dont play pokemon and they would tease me if they knew and my brother knows this and he almost told them :S
    so im left with a choice
    A. give up pokemon and not get SS
    B. Play in secret (waking up early ect)
    C. Play anyway and who gives a dam about them...
    Please tell me what one..
    Or even better give me suggestions on what to do...

    Murder your brother?

    I would just keep playing, I mean it's a game, and if they tease you then they can't be very good friends.When I told my friend she laughed and said that pokemon was fun.

    Yea i would love to do that but...some of my friends even play it and they even know i play it its just a small few of good friends which i dont want to fall out with but anyway thanks so much for your advice
     
    I just play it late at night. My brother doesn't tell anyone, as i can always tell people even worse stuff about him.
     
    I'm in the same situation. (Well, I don't have a brother, but...) About 4 or 5 years ago I openly played pokemon. Then stayed quiet about it. People mock me after all these years and there is no changing that. Luckily it's only a few people...
     
    Pokemon games are games of strategy, not just a game of cute and fluffy creatures, as some people might think. I wonder what some of those people would think if they came across a Pokemon like Mamoswine or Magmortar in real life. They would probably be scared to death.
     
    Play the damn game! Nobody cares that much whether you play Pokemon or not. If you played it, and everyone else knew, the worst that would happen would be one or two snide remarks, which you can either laugh off and strike back with a witty retort, or if you're tired just whip out the old "I can do want I want to do so leave it" defence. Seriously, the world will not end.
     
    Actually, all the time I tell my friends stuff from PKMN Games they start : " Awwww not Pokemon AGAIN ! " . Who gives a dam* sh*t about them , just play !!
     
    If they're really your friends, then they shouldn't really care. Let your brother show the everyone that he's a world class arse. Doesn't make him a better person. I mean, I'm dressing up as a character from the anime of all things for hero day tomorrow. And I'm 17 and in 12th grade. You'll be fine.

    Also, this...really isn't the place exactly to discuss this...it's not really game specific...but you have your answer now anyway, so I'll close this. I'm sure anyone else that has posted here wouldn't mind answering any other questions or concerns you have if you just PM/VM them. I'm always open if needed, too.
