What should I get?

Well, my question refers to 2 different things. The first is:

PSP or DS. Which one is better overall? If I do get a PSP, it WILL be using homebrew. But, is Pokemon Diamond, plus many other great games that the PSP doesn't have, is it better to get the much cheaper DS?

My 2nd question is which is better: Pearl or Diamond? Diamond seems to be more popular...

    To DS/PSP question: Don't know, I don't own a PSP.

Diamond or Pearl.. Hmm. First, look at the pokemon that can only be found in Diamond, or ones that only found in Pearl. If you want to use one, pick the game that has that pokemon. If you don't care, then pick whoever you like more - Dialga or Palkia.

Actually if you really don't care about which version exclusives, go with which ever one you can get your hands on first...

As for the PSP/DS question, I would go DS, PSP has poor battery life (at least with my experience, I might have had a bugged PSP)

DS, Many are complaining how their PSP gets no use, it's just a big storage device, people want Sony to come out with better games but they don't seem to be doing anything about it except making what many consider a worse version of the PSP.

I own both the DS and PSP, so I'll go ahead and give my two cents:

Seriously, get the DS. Nintendo's been considered one of the best game developers for quite some time this year, and they're gonna keep releasing stuff for the Wii and DS. Sure, the PSP has a massive screen, and believe me, it's fantastic for media capabilities such as music playback, and playing videos at a really sweet definition.

But games-wise, the DS most certainly tramples the PSP.

And about the D/P question, be sure to look around at the D/P forum, since I'm sure we've had a ton of those threads already.
