Anyways... just some genres that I like: Rock, Alternative Rock, Post-Punk, Punk, J-Punk, J-Rock, Indie, Adult Alternative, Grunge, Post-Grunge, Garage, Classic Rock, 80s Rock, 90s Alternative, Folk Rock, Blues, Metal, Blues Metal, Industrial Metal, Tranz-Metal, Dance, Electronica, Techno, Psychadelic rock, Rock 'n' Roll, Jazz, Salsa, reggaeton, rhythm & blues, hip-hop, old school rap, underground rap, etc, etc


I'm more into Classic Rock, Rock n Roll, Folk Rock, and Blues Metal
 
The only category I really dislike in that list is Country. If I had to pick a favorite though, I'd have to go with Rock. XD
 
Definitely what you would call a jazz appreciator. I've been so for as long as I can remember. ^^
 
Pop-Rock. That's about all that I "Like" :)

More appropiate choices would be the following GENRES:

-Rock
-Hip-Hop
-Electronic
-Jazz
-Classical
-*cough*pop*cough*

everything else is just a style of one of those.
Pop doesn't really count. hehe.
And you can't really call yourself a music lover if you can only listen to one type of music. There are so many different styles and artists that it is plain ignorant to say "ALL HIP-HOP IS GAY GANGSTA $H)@" or "COUNTRY IS FOR HICKS".
Try to get out of your comfort zone a little, it may do you good.

But latley I have been searching my playlist for something that isn't negative in anyway...and the only two bands I found were Cake and U2...

I love U2, music is my miracle drug!

I listen to just rap but I'm starting to listen to rock cause of my bro but just rap right now.
 
I'm pretty much into rock and some heavy metal.
 
I'm willing to listen to anything with decent music and good lyrics. Of course, some genres are better than others in my eyes. :x

My favorites tend to be classical, pop, and rock to a lesser extent.
Classical sounds beautiful. Pop has a good beat and tends to have clean lyrics. I...just like how rock sounds. XD;

I thought i was the only person who liked rap on this site....

BUt I see some people like it. But I probably like it better than anyone here.I have about 50 GB worth of rap music on my computer

I like old-school, instrumental, and underground hip-hop, like de la soul, Deltron, A Tribe Called Quest, MF DOOM, Madlib/Quasimoto, DJ Shadow, Sage Francis, etc.
but that's just hip-hop, i like a lot more that i don't feel like typing at the moment,
