So now that Black 2 & White 2 have been released, Nintendo will most likely be focusing on their next game whether that be a main stream or a spin-off but what will the next game(s) be? Will they be sequels to Black 2 & White 2, PokePark Wii 3, another Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, will they jump right to Gen VI or will they be the highly anticipated Ruby & Sapphire Remakes?
Either way we should see something during 2013, right? Speculate!

You mean gen VI, not IV! lol ;) Anyway, what I want to happen next would be RS remakes, but what I think will happen next is another spin off. I think it's far too early to move on to gen VI. I personally think they're done with Ranger and PMD though. idk, I just get a feeling that's done. So I'm thinking the next spin off will be another new idea, but no clue what.

He used a Delorean to get back to Gen IV so this topic was made in the past and is just not getting here.

Hopefully they make RS remakes, but I would be content with something like Pinball. I would say Colosseum & XD since I really want them, but I would prefer they break that in around the time the Wii U gets going, so its out on that instead of the Wii. Gen VI as Syd said seems a bit early I don't think they feel like rushing a few money making games while they are still in this gen. Cause it seems Conquest is doing well from what I hear from others, so we have a new Spin Off their which gives them more of an incentive to pump out a few before the end of Gen V.

I hope for R/S remakes. I didn't like the originals very much so I want to give Hoenn another go before giving my final thoughts. I can't stand the GBA version. Its too slow. I don't want any more spinoffs, ever. I think they all SUCK. Never liked em.
However, I do want a Gen V colosseum game. Where I can see my Pokes in glorious 3d. Except it cant suck. I want better online, and the Pokemon animations can't be lazy! srsly. Hopefully the Wii U has decent online. Hey NintenDERP, WELCOME TO 2001!

By the waaayyy Keshin. TO create a functioning DeLorean timr machine. you need a flux capacitor, which I doubt anyone who wastes time on a Pokemon forum can manage to obtain.

I would like a Sapphire remake for the DS.

Like most others, I'd really want to see third gen remakes, as there's been a pretty high demand for it, and I don't think Gamefreak would pull it any longer, however possibilities for a spin-off are big too, so it could be either. It'd be great to see a Stadium 3 actually, though I don't think that's very likely.

If it turns out to be remakes, it's probably gonna be on the 3DS, as I think they're done with the DS, and if it's a spin-off, it's probably gonna be on the Wii. It could be cool if they were in the process of making a Pokémon game for the WiiU already, but I don't know if that's even available for game developers before the release of consoles, not likely as they may not even be ready for games by then.

Personally, I hope we'll see the next "Battle Revolution". (By that, I just mean the next game where we can battle our Pokemon in full 3D.)

I was a little bummed that Battle Revolution wouldn't let me see my Origin Forme Giratina in 3D, so I've been hoping that a new game would eventually be made. Now, with 156 new Pokemon they could add to it (plus forms/formes), I think another game like this would hold everyone's attention for some time while they work on Gen VI.

And it seems like there's a shortage of spinoffs in this Generation, so we could possibly see some more before Gen VI.
RSE remakes: I doubt it, but people want it, so who knows?
Black 3 and White 3: I say no. Ghetsis seems to have lost it, and 1 of the chosen heroes has given up his dragon.

I think right now the only thing we can say for sure is that some kind of spinoff will come. But when it comes to the main series, we'll just have to wait and see.

Not sure how I'd feel about a new Battle Revolution. It was kinda like a more modern version of Stadium, but I didn't like how it was so hard to get through without transferring Pokémon from your fourth gen games. Though despite that, it was a pretty fun game, so if they lowered the difficulty a bit, or made it seperate after the teams you chose (pre-made teams already in the games and teams from your games), then I guess I'd like to see a new one.

I don't think they'll be making another Battle Revolution type game because PBR was got bad reviews (at least that's what I've heard). :c It would be cool to battle with 5th gen Pokemon and whatnot, though, on the Wii.

I think they'll go for another Spinoff even though Conquest is still new. They just released 2 big main games so I don't think they'll go for another 2 (or maybe just 1 RSE remake). I don't think they'll do Gen 6 for a while because there is still so much they can do with Gen 5.

I'm hoping that they'll do the Mystery Dungeon/Ranger spin off combo (mostly PMD though!), then the RSE remakes.

I kinda hope they make another Ranger game. It's long overdue.

Since Conquest seems to be doing pretty well, I'd be interested in seeing more out-of-the-box Pokémon games, even including more crossovers. Maybe one with Capcom next? (They are considering putting Capcom characters into the new Super Smash Bros. after all). A Phoenix Wright/Pokémon crossover would be pretty funny. Or with some other developer, like Square Enix or Level-5? A Professor Layton/Pokémon crossover would be pretty awesome, and it's not like Pokémon hasn't ventured into puzzles before.

Having not yet played Gen 3, I can't say the idea of Gen 3 remakes appeals to me in any way, but it would make sense that we could see such remakes in the near future. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I think that next they will be making R/S/E remakes, simply due to the fact that they are in such high demand at the moment! Hoenn was such an awesome region, with such amazing Pokemon, and to see it stuck in a GBA format for the rest of eternity would be such a sad thing to see!

Like almost everyone else has mentioned, I'm really hoping for some Ruby/Sapphire remakes. Having recently played through each generation, the jump between II and III was pretty big and obvious (could be due to the change in consoles), and having recently completed Emerald again, you can really see some of the awesome features in there, that weren't there in Crystal. So it would be interesting to see what else they add to make these games more awesome. I hope, if this does happen, they don't ruin it though - FRLG were beautiful games, and HGSS are still my favourite Pokémon games to date, so the standard for remakes is set pretty high in my eyes.

As for spin-offs, I'd love another Ranger game. While (from what I've gathered asking Pokémon fans) they're not the most popular side games, I really loved them, so it would be nice to see some of the Unova Pokémon in a Ranger game.

I can't comment on Conquest since it's not released here yet, but the concept seems interesting to me, so maybe more "out-of-the-box games" (as someone else put it) would be nice, instead of re-hashing old ideas (Ranger, MD etc.)

I would love it if they made a new Mystery Dungeons game, but I find it more likely that there will either be a RSE remake, or a new Ranger game.
