3rd Gen Whats a good team to beat the elite four? (Fire Red)

I was wondering what would make a well balenced team for the elite four.

Heres my team:

Electibuzz lv 46
Lapras lv 42
Flareon lv 42
Pidgeot lv 40
Butterfree lv 41
Articuno lv 50

Any advice?

I would can the Butterfree and replace it with a Venomoth. Better speed and attack. Butterfree is kinda a 'meh' Pokemon anyway.

Your team's levels are way too low. The Elite Four has Pokemon between the levels of 51-65. I suggest you train them up to at least level 50 before challenging them. Otherwise, you will be needing a lot of Revives and Full Restores.

Since you're only battling the E4, you don't really have to change any of your Pokemon choices. Just battle against type advantages and train them up to a decent level, preferably equal to their's, and then battle~

Ok then, but I need to level them up! I beat all of the pkmn trainers in Kanto though. Where do I get the VS seeker so that I could battle again?

You get the VS Seeker from a girl in the Vermillion City Pokemon Center.
