What's the max?

But what is the maximum of status points you can gain when you level up?

It depends on how you've trained your Pokemon. It can vary depending on the EVs you've placed into its training.

(That's if I'm thinking along the lines of what you've said... if not, ignore this xD)

So there isn't an actual maximum standard for the amount of EV's gained in 1 level?

I'm not sure about an exact maximum, but I've heard of people getting some pretty high increases before. Like 10+ in one stat... dunno if it's really true though. I've only had around 5 from personal experience.

Well, I had +19 last time, just wanted to know if there's a max so I don't spend my EV's into useless status.

Technically, if you level your Pokémon to level 99 with Rare Candies/Daycare and then EV train it and level it up, the stats you EV trained it in can grow with close to 70 points.
