You have a pretty awesome set of interests, I'll admit! Playing the guitar especially is really cool, I hope to learn to play an instrument sometime in the future. Hopefully piano. <3

But yeah, there's lots of people around here who prefer the older gens. You can talk about them in the General Pokemon Gaming Discussions part of the site if you'd like. (: Since I'm curious haha, have you ever played the older games like HeartGold/SoulSilver and Black/White? I found those to be really great in their own way, as well~!

As for your card issue, the Trading Card Game section can definitely help out with that, so go ahead and make a thread after you've read over the rules and such. n_n

If you're open to the new gens, you should definitely get into Gen 4. That's the best Gen for a nostalgic Pokemon gamer because a lot of the new Pokemon are evolutions and pre-evolutions of Gen 2 and 3 Pokemon :).

You sound like you're one of the cool kids in the class, with your skateboard and your guitar :P. You must be pulling in all the ladies (or guys, depending on which you're after) xD.

hey everyone, my name's brandon. i play pokemon, guitar, skateboard, that's about the gist of it. love the old school gens but open to getting into the newer ones. i have quite a collection of the trading cards all the way up until the gym leader set.

i have one misprint in particular that i've yet to find any info on. it is a base set holo clefairy with a heart printed right above the name. i have only found 1 or 2 of these online, but absolutely no info. i have a pic if need be.

anyway, sorry for rambling. how are you all?

You should play Black or White, they are great games and among my personal favorites.
