When did you stop believing in Santa Claus?

I stopped believing a long time ago. I applied logic to the myth and found it impossible. If he DOES exist, then he is evil (see my conspiracy story in Other Writing for more details).

LOL evil, now there's a twist.
I stopped believing when I was 6 years old. I put two and two together.
As far as I can tell it's only a little tale parents tell their kids, for what reason is beyond me but we were all told of it nonetheless.

I stopped believing in Santa when I was about five years old, that is when my mom told me he was fake. It kind of hurt to hear that my own mother had been lying to me and made me think about what other things she has been lying to me about.

It's so they can be nice, they are made to believe that if they are not nice Santa won't give them a present.

I actually never believed in Santa, I didn't even know who Santa was until I was like 10.

I never did believe him or her. As soon as I heard of him or her ^_^ my parents told me right away that Santa Cluase doesn't exsit. Its nothing but me and your dad putting stuff under the tree while you sleep.

3rd grade, which means 8 or 9 years old.

Hmmm, I'd say probably when I was 7 or 8. I started to get really suspicious around then and on inspecting the letters my parents wrote on our presents (they used different initials so they knew which presents were for me and which were for my brother) I knew that it was their writing.

I didn't get upset or anything XD I felt proud of myself!

This thread is really not needed, we all know the secret, but let's not ruin the younger kiddies hopes xD Otherwise the legend of Santy Claws will die this year xD

Anyway I think it was when I was around 4th grade, I woke up late and aw my folks bringing toys from their car xP

I stopped believing in the simplest way possible. Father dressed as Santa Claus and put a present beside me on my bed. Then I woke up. He waved goodbye to me, and then I pulled his beard off. I was 8 years old when I stopped believing. Good times? Not sure.

they told me he was fake o.o, I already suspected once when my mom went downstairs for a glass of water...in the living room and took like half an hour long XD*faints*

I still believe in him....at least he WAS real....so I don't believe in him coming down our chimneys and crap, but he probably did like, way back whenever...in other words a long,LONG time ago,the was a Saint Nick, giving presents to kids....catch my drift?....plus when I was like,little(6) my mom tryied to make sure I was sleep by standing right there at my door for half an hour, then went out side to get the presents.....

Yes, there was a Saint Nick who lived centuries ago that gave presents to children that Santa Claus is derived from.

I never really did believe in him. Then, once I turned seven, I stopped believing in my completely.

When I was 2 my brother told me lol. But I didn't really care. But it was hard to convince all my classmates in kindergarten that they didn't have his phone number and that there parents were just lying (everybody hated me for some reason after I said that XP)

I stopped believing in Santa back when I was 10. I don't know how it happened. But I was bad and you know how Santa usually leaves a lump of coal?

I didn't find it. So, that's when I stopped believing in that.
