Where would you live in the Pokemon world?

Pokemon has introduced many varied environments and areas over the years, if you were suddenly teleported to the Pokemon world, where would you make your home? Would you live in a bustling city? On a route away from civilization? In a quiet town?

Personally I'd live in Goldenrod City, seems to have a lot of amenities with easy access to a national park, daycare, radio tower and shopping mall. The magnet train would also make travel to Kanto quick and convenient, assuming its finished when I arrive.

Leans towards Santalune City. Seems pretty chill there. Contains very few nasty Pokemon around, minus Super Rod stuff (Gyarados, Sharpedo, Crawdaunt). Lies close enough to Lumiose City to benefit from some of the positives of city life, while dealing with far fewer people on the regular.

My favorite Pokemon city has always been Slateport, but for a place to live I think I'd actually prefer Lilycove. It's coastal, which I like, but has high enough elevation that I don't have to worry much about flooding. It has land access to several of my favorite routes, the Safari Zone, a Contest Hall, and Mt. Pyre are all nearby, and it has a department store for anything I need to purchase. Plus I want a pet Shuppet and I wouldn't have to go very far to catch one.

I think I saw a thread something like this a while ago? But in that thread I answered Jubilife City and my answer hasn't (and likely won't ever) change! Jubilife is one of my favourite cities in all of Pokemon and it reminds me a lot of home. I've spent so much time there that it already feels like one of those video game locations that are like a second home for me.

Gonna just go ahead and quote myself =P

Well my fav regions are Hoenn and Kalos,, but Hoenn is probably too hot for my liking though.
Sootopolis would be cool... yet impracticable as heck xD

Either Snowbelle City or Dendemille Town.
Snowbelle City always has snow in it and a forest nearby.
Dendemille Town is smaller, but it can also snow there and it has a pretty windmill.
Suppose it would come down to how busy Snowbelle City is. I'm not that big on busy/crowded cities. If it's too busy I'd go for Dendemille Town instead.

Basically any smaller town near nature would suffice.

Well, technically Unova is relatively located very close to where I live IRL. It also has four seasons unlike all of the other regions (that's only taking game canon, though. I can't imagine that many of the regions wouldn't actually have four seasons. Alola and Hoenn maybe not as much, but all of the others should), so it's tempting to say I should live there. Until we get Poke-New England (if such a thing ever comes to exist).

However, it's really hard to narrow down to a town/city. I don't really like big cities or small towns. I like suburbs.

The other regions I'd potentially live in would be Kalos or Galar.

Probably Ecruteak City or Goldenrod City. I'm a history person, so I would love knowing more about the Tower Duo and the Legendary Beasts. And I'm a big city person, so I would probably love it there, too.

Definitely somewhere in Alola, it's the closest to my own home in terms of weather. I'd hate to live in a cold place for sure!
Now, which town would suffer the least with tourist prices, is the real question.

LOL - didn't see this thread; whoops!

I would probably settle down in Sootopolis in the Hoenn region. I'm a fan of the idea of how you access the city & how reclusive, but not too rural, the town is. Also, I'm sure the views from the sides where the houses are are impeccable with the water.

I love the snow and with Sinnoh being my second favorite region i think Snowpoint city would be great to live in. I would try to become a gym trainer with the intention of taking over the gym one day. With water type being one of my favorites I think that Gym would be good to be in as there are some good water/ice types i would like to use plus Abomasnow is one of my favorites.

hmm hard. It would be probably either in Sinnoh or Hoenn, given that they are my fav regions. Sottopolis city is a good candidate. But there are quite a few cities that I like, I also like big cities. Ballonlea in Galar is pretty cool too.
