3rd Gen Which Firered or leafgreen

Im thinking of buying one of the two if you have any advice of which to get send me a message if there is any difference between the two or anything I should know tell me plz

Granted, most of the posts are extremely unhelpful. Personally, LG has the better Pokes in it.

I got LG.

I'd reccomend it as it has better pokes than in FR.

I got both the day they came out, but green is my favourite color, and I hear it's better than Fire Red, so I say Leaf Green! ^_^

Well, in fire red you catch Growlithe, in Leaf green you catch vulpix, etc. ^^ Same game play, just some different pokes ^^ *squee~!

I do believe they are the same price; all the other duo'd-games [r/b, g/s, r/s] have been.

They're both $20 US. Emerald is still $35, which kind of sucks...

The only different between the versions are the pokémon you can catch a version...I brought LG since I like Green > Red :P

See if you have any favorite Pokemon that appear in only one of the two, and then take that version. I took Fire Red because I definitely wanted Growlithe and Arcanine.

I went with Leafgreen cause I played blue when I was younger and Green is my favorite color. My girlfriend got Firered, so trading and which pokemon are in which game wasn't really an issue.

I bought both at the same time I like Leafgreen better because it has a picture of Venusaur on it

I got Leaf Green and eventually got Fire Red to complete it.

It doesn't have much differances, just differant Pokemon.. so check up which one gets what.
