Recover is lol on Zam, as are the elemental punches, since they are physical now. focus blast, sghadow ball, energy ball...those are some replacements.

Also, if you use CM, please give it focus sash, and have a spinner. That way it won't get OHKOed by somwthing while powering up.

This is where you mentioned it. Can't beleive I didn't see it. Anyways, yeah, all sweepers must have a Focus Sash for their respective powering moves.

Such as focus sash on weavile w/ SD and rampardos w/ Rock polish. It should be noted that some sweepers, like metagross, are bulky enough to take hits, and you can give it something other than focus sash.

To add, Gyarados, Steelix, Torterra, Swampert, Slaking, Tyranitar, Armaldo. Armaldo and Gyarados are minor examples. Armaldo has more def, but is in UU. Gyarados has more sp.def then def.

Steelix doesn't have a move that is a stat raiser, except rock polish which is lol on it with 30 base speed. Zam is great in 3rd gen with the elemental punches. It is like a boltbeamer, and with a STAB attack.
