[Discussion] Which Post-Gen 2 Pokémon games have Pokémon won as prizes

Hi there,

This is for an idea I have for the Challenge thread. The obvious signs would be all the Game Boy/Colour games from Red to Crystal that feature the Game Corner, which is why I'm not asking for those. After that, details get a little sketchy. Does anyone know?

You could take a look at the list of Gift Pokemon from Bulbapedia to see what would qualify for your planned challenge. Other than that, there's nothing that really comes to mind.

Knows some (which are on the list linked above). Depends a little on your definition of "winning" for a few.

• Totem-sized Pokemon via Totem Stickers in Ultra Sun/Moon
• Surfing Pikachu in Ultra Sun/Moon (post-game only?) via the Mantine Surf minigame
• Fossils from the Digging Duo in Sword/Shield. (Kind of a stretch. Amounts to a lottery, though.)
• Alolan Pokemon from finding Alolan Digletts on Sword/Shield's Isle of Armor
• Shiny Munchlax in Scarlet/Violet's Teal Mask via Ogre Oustin' (very difficult to impossible solo).

Could try allowing people to hack in certain Pokemon for completing something like Contests. Would not be very doable on official hardware, though.
