Pok?mon the movie 2000:
In a world where humans own and train Pok?mon creatures, legend has it that hree powerful Pok?mon birds, Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno, maintain nature's balance by controlling the elements of fire, lightning and ice from their respective islands. Rumor has it that if the peaceful harmony and co-existence of the birds is disrupted, nature will go haywire, wreaking havoc on the world.
It's also believed that if the three birds are captured and brought together, they'll unleash the legendary, sea-dwelling Lugia, a rare and extremely valuable Pok?mon. As such, Lawrence III, a greedy collector of the creatures, has set out to capture the three birds in order to attain Lugia. Having captured Moltres, Lawrence III is one step closer to his diabolical goal, but his plan has already begun to disrupt nature.
At the same time, human trainer Ash Ketchum, his friends, Misty and Tracy, and their Pok?mon, including Pikachu, find themselves shipwrecked on Shamouti Island, where locals Carol and Melody are preparing for their annual festival and need someone to fill their hero role. Being game, Ash agrees to do just that.
Soon, however, the boy learns that his role will involve trying to save the world. As Lawrence III continues on his quest to capture the three birds, Ash must not only deal with that, but also various physical challenges, self doubt, and the intervention of his arch rivals, Jessie, James and their Pok?mon mascot, Meowth (who collectively make up Team Rocket).
Pok?mon 3:
POK?MON 3: The Movie, the third full-length animated feature based on the popular Japanese cartoon series (adapted for American audiences by producer Norman Grossfeld and director Michael Haigney) presents an intriguing blend of fast-paced adventure and fantasy. Young pok?mon trainer Ash and his traveling companions arrive at the idyllic town of Greenfield, where they encounter five-year-old Molly, a lonely little girl whose parents have disappeared into another dimension inhabited by the Unown. These cryptic hieroglyphic-shaped pok?mon are able to read the minds of humans and make their dreams become reality. With the help of the Unown, Molly's overactive imagination has spawned a bizarre dream world complete with a crystal tower of gigantic proportions and a mighty guardian pok?mon to do her bidding. After fighting their way inside Molly's refuge, Ash's loyal pok?mon pals and the Unown finally clash in a splashy computer-enhanced showdown.
As in the first and second Pok?mon movie installments, an animated short precedes the main feature: In PIKACHU AND PICHU, everyone's favorite yellow electric pok?mon encounters the playful Pichu brothers during a trip to the big city, along with a host of colorful new pok?mon first introduced in Pok?mon Gold and Silver for the Nintendo Game Boy.
Pok?mon 4ever:
The film opens with two scenes: a Pok?mon we've never seen before (it is a Celebi, a legendary and extremely powerful Pok?mon, who looks a lot like a flying pixie) is fleeing from a Pok?mon hunter, and a young boy is wandering into a forest. The boy rescues the Pok?mon from the hunter, but they are pursued. To save both of them, the Pok?mon invokes a special power, and takes them 40 years into the future ? a future that happens to be the time of Ash, Brock, and Misty, the characters we know so well. However, they are pursued by another hunter, one who turns out to be a rather more serious member of Team Rocket called the Masked Marauder (don't worry, we still get to laugh at Jesse, James, and Meowth). The Marauder is an unpleasant person who uses Dark Balls to capture Pok?mon and turn them evil. He's out to capture and corrupt Celebi.
Pok?mon Heroes:
The fifth Pok?mon movie takes Ash, Misty, Brock, and Pikachu to the city of Altomare, a thinly disguised Venice guarded by the shape-shifting Pok?mon Latios and Latias. Two new agents of Giovanni's, Annie and Oakley, are out to capture these rare Pok?mon--reducing Team Rocket to the role of spectators. Latios and Latias are linked to an elaborate, computer-generated mechanism that defends the city, controls the tides and brings fossil Pok?mon back to life. Ash and Pikachu foil the evil plan with some help from Misty, Brock, and Bianca, a girl who lives in Altomare with her kindly grandfather.
